Fab little cottage. The pool and play area were just brilliant for the kids, we used them everyday before (or after) heading out to visit some place or another. Preston Gate pub nearby was fab, and catered brilliantly for kids and a vegan! Great location for visiting all the attractions Cornwall and Devon have to offer!!!
Excellent cottage, swimming pool is lovely and the playground is a welcome distraction. The garden is a good size and being enclosed was a relief knowing both the toddler and the dog couldn''t get any further away! The cottage has everything you need to cook inside or outdoors and is close to some amazing beaches. Highly recommend for a peaceful yet exciting holiday.
Another great week at Bramblewood. Excellent accommodation for all the family and the property fully equipped to make your stay comfortable. The swimming pool is clean and well maintained great for fun with the family or just enjoying some lengths. The cottages are only 5 mins from the centre of Bude and the great beaches at crooklets and summerleaze as well as a great base to travel a visit other places around Cornwall like Eden & Tintagel Read more
We recently stayed again in the Briar Patch cottage. It is very comfortable, well decorated, fully equipped and clean. The pool is an excellent amenity and there is a good children’s play area. The owners of Briar Patch deal with any issues in a professional and prompt manner. Our break was originally booked for last summer but due to Government restrictions could not take place. They have dealt with the deferral to this year in an organised and fair manner. Very happy to recommend.
Had a fantastic time staying in Briar Patch cottage- nice spacious living room, with two good bathrooms and a kitchen that had everything we needed. On-site there is an indoor swimming pool and games room with table tennis, and the cottage was just a short way from the beach. Would strongly recommend, had a great holiday :)
We had another lovely week in Bude, this time in Bramblewood. The pool was great for when it was rainy weather, and as the sea is a bit cold in May! The kitchen is well equipped, we could bake our own scones for a homemade cream tea in the pretty, sheltered garden The location is ideal, we had a very tasty supper at the nearby pub and it was very easy to drive into town for beach/clifftop walks and pasties. Would definitely recommend staying here!
