By Marie on 01-Nov-2024Sylvia’s cottage was lovely and we felt at home straight away, super clean and cosy and a lot of love, thought and care had gone into preparing for us. The lemon cake left for us was delicious and we had the pleasure of meeting Sylvia during our stay who is lovely. Surrounding area is absolutely gorgeous, we would definitely come and stay again. Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely cottage
Wedding Guests
By Lindsay on 08-Oct-2024Absolutely lovely find in such a beautiful part of the world. Sylvies cottage was perfect , we were in the area for a wedding and was such a great base. The cottage itself is so homely and quaint. Cleaned to a high standard and has all the amenities you need. The bed was so comfortable I with nice comfy pillows. Sylvia was fantastic at communicating and very helpful throughout our stay . I would highly recommend.
Perfect Birthday destination!
By Lucie on 24-Sep-2024Had the best time celebrating my friend’s birthday for 2 nights in Sylvia’s cottage. The attention to detail was amazing! Sylvia had put up balloons and banners and had written a little card for my friend! The cottage was just what we needed, it was so cute and cosy and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Thank you!!
Great choice for a small family
By J P on 16-Sep-2024Very cosy and comfortable cottage, perfect for a small family. We’ve just spent a lovely few days here, surfing at Westward Ho! and walking on Exmoor.
Grandchildren love to return!
By Helen Pursall on 10-Aug-2024Had another lovely stay at Sylvie’s Country Cottage with our grandchildren. She provided everything we needed and more, including toys, books and a basket of chocolates which the children used for a treasure hunt. Suggestions for things to do such as the North Devon Show were much appreciated. The cottage is cosy and well equipped. Would definitely recommend especially for families, and we hope to return again ourselves next year.
Away from the hustle and bustle of town
By Alice on 24-Jul-2024We had a lovely few days away, the house was a perfect location for us to visit everything nearby and visit family. Everything we needed was in the house, so we just had to take ourselves (& clothes). The neighbours were lovely and we had quite a big car so they moved their smaller car to let us park where they would. The area is very quiet, a few passing cars and tractors but perfect if you want to be away from the hustle & bustle of a town.
