Description

Sleeps 4 – 2 bedrooms, both with en-suite facilities.

New from November 2022 and with fabulous reviews and repeat bookings already, River Bay is located just off the main river in a small marina, a good spot for fishing (in season, rod license required. Bait fridge on site). Watch the boats pass the top of the marina to and from the River Yare and spot the wildlife activity.
With it’s own quay headed moorings, River Bays’ quiet and tranquil location is in a perfect spot to get into the quieter waters with your own boat, kayak or paddle board from our slipway on the marina.

With the train station less than half a mile away you can visit Norwich for shopping, sightseeing and history or Great Yarmouth for an ice-cream on the beach and the Pleasure beach.

Boat & paddleboard hire is available locally – pre booking is advised.

Exploring the countryside and coastline is easy by car with quaint towns and villages close by. With lots to do in the area, you won’t be disappointed. Please see our information page for many other local attractions.

Full kitchen with oven, stove, full size fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, cutlery, dining and cooking essentials & dishwasher.

Open plan kitchen/diner/lounge. Large patio door leads out to the veranda with dining furniture and steps down to the garden with picnic table and the waters edge.

Fish bait fridge and 2 x recliner sun loungers.

Private quay headed mooring.

Private Parking x 1 car – additional parking is available in the car park free of charge to residents – please request.

Electric, bed linen, standard size bath towel (not sheet), hand towel and WiFi included.

Also provided are tea towels, J cloth, sponge, washing up liquid, antibac, handwash, dishwasher tablets and a starter kitchen & toilet roll.

Dog friendly – £30 per pet.

Please note that there is unfenced deep water at the end of the garden.

Wheelchair accessible - entrance and bedrooms only, all on 1 floor.

Perfect for the Broads

A clean, spacious, well equipped lodge in the ideal location for exploring the broads. Mooring our boat immediately outside the front door was wonderful . The Holiday Lodge Manager was extremely helpful and with a short walk to the pub providing meals and shops within a two minute drive, everything was perfect for us.

Beautiful Lodge

When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised by the easy access onto the plot. Upon entering the property we found a large living space and kitchen and much bigger than it looks in the pictures. We booked a four night stay and wished we could have stayed longer. the accommodation was comfortable and we liked the decor and found plenty of outside space.

Had an amazing stay in River Bay Lodge everything was provided with thought and consideration for everyone to have an excellent staycation even down to our dog (welcome treats), welcome biscuits and a selection of tea bags coffee etc, the furnishings were lovely, the whole package was great the Manager Tina is very friendly, bubbly and kind thank you Tina for an amazing stay - we shall return and definitely recommend
