Description
This light and airy lodge is stylishly decorated and perfectly situated on the edge of a beautiful lake and closest to the River Waldon, which borders Mill Farm. With parking on the driveway next to Kingfisher Cabin access is easy and a pedestrian gate leads on to the decked veranda. The accommodation is all on one level, with an open plan living room with kitchen and dining areas. The fully equipped kitchen has an electric oven and ceramic hob, a microwave oven, fridge with a freezer compartment, dishwasher, toaster, kettle and Tassimo coffee machine. There is also outside access to a shared washing machine and tumble dryer in the laundry room adjacent to Otter Cottage. The dining area has a table and four chairs along with great views, and the living area has two plush, two-seater sofas. For entertainment there is a Smart TV and WiFi A small lobby leads into the shower room with shower, WC and wash basin and heated towel rail. Also located off of the lobby are the bedrooms. These are beautifully decorated with quality comfortable beds. Bedroom one has a luxurious king size bed, whilst bedroom two has twin beds. Each bedroom also has plenty of wardrobe space. Outside the enclosed lawn garden is safe for children and dogs and there is a covered decked area with a wooden picnic table and benches, plus deck chairs.3 Reviews

By Caroline C on 01-Apr-2025What's not to like about Mill Farm. It's beautiful, tranquil in the loveliest part of the countryside. Alpacas to the left of you & fishing lake right in front of you. Wildlife everywhere you look. Absolutely stunning location. Our hosts were lovely and friendly, and also discreet, letting us enjoy our time without any interference which is a real plus. It felt a real home from home. Dog friendly too. Everything you could wish for in a peaceful relaxing holiday. Just what the doctor ordered. Thanks guy

By Alyosha P on 20-Oct-2024I just wanted to say what an amazing time we had at mill farm. This was now our second time there as I had completely fell in love with the place. We had our stay in the Otter Cottage and everything was perfect. We arrived late in the night , and the cottage was nice and warm upon arrival and a good bag was waiting for us in the morning with lovely biscuits, coffee , hot chocolate and even marshmallows and stick 🩷 Our hosts were friendly and so professional and made our stay even more agreeable. The peace and quiet is definitely a plus when you come from a busy town. The views are so divine and breathtaking. We had the great experience to interact with the friendly alpacas - my young daughter loves every minute of it. All I can say is I cannot wait to come back again :) perfect family getaway.

By Michael T on 10-Oct-2024we have stayed in many pet friendly holiday accommodations over many years Mill farm has topped the pile the accommodation was clinically clean and tidy with a nice little welcome pack with doggy treats the lodge had everything you need and very comfortable We stayed in owl lodge with lovely views across the lake the grounds are very special with a path around the lake It is very clear that a lot of care goes into making your stay at mill farm special We have already booked for next year we highly recommend this pet friendly holiday location
