First day here. It’s a Pretty location that is very close to the sea side village of Boscastle. We received a friendly reception with special touches. Scones for the grown ups, an Easter egg for the young one and treats for the dogs. And best of all, milk in the fridge for a cup of something hot after a long drive. There’s a huge field at the back of the property for walking the dogs, which is a huge bonus for dog owners. If you are a walking fan, or just want a base set in the quiet countryside with sea views, this is an idyllic location. We have stayed in a lot of holiday cottages over the years and this is highly recommended.
We are a family of four and spent a glorious week in the Elderberry cottage. The views from the property are fantastic and the apartment was very clean and well appointed with some quality essentials like tea, coffee, dish washer tablets etc provided. Loads to do in the local area and the hosts , Adam and Melanie, were only too willing to help with suggestions and local amenities. Looking forward to booking again in the near future.
We had a brilliant 2 weeks at Polrunny Farm this summer. Adam and Melanie were the perfect hosts; from being quick to respond to my pre holiday queries, to the sparkling clean cottage that awaited us on our arrival as well as the little extra touches such as the dog bed and treats, the supply of soap, dishwasher tablets etc and their wealth of knowledge of the local area. We visited several very different beaches, some local tourist attractions, took a boat trip from Padstow, visited the Eden project both to see the gardens and ride the zip wire and did lots of coastal walks. We hope to be back soon!
