Formerly owned by The Lanhydrock Estate, the property offers luxury accommodation sleeping 8 guests in four bedrooms, each with a wall mounted TV. With charming period features and exposed beams, comfortable and well equipped, this beautiful cottage offers everything to ensure a relaxing getaway.

Being only minutes on foot from the Lanhydrock Estate , there is much to see and do in the area. Country and riverside walks, picnics, cycling and nature trails, the area has something for everyone. Lanhydrock House and gardens are not only breathtaking but of interest from an historical and architectural point of view. A visit offers a fabulous day out with many activities for the whole family. Also watch out for the special events they regularly host there.

The cottage is also situated within half a mile of the prestigious Lanhydrock Golf course which is a must for any keen golfer and access to the Camel Trail at Bodmin will provide links to Wadebridge or Padstow by either walking or cycling. Breathtaking scenery can be enjoyed at any part, perhaps enjoying a small refreshment at the delightful cafe at Nanstallon or enjoying British made wine at the Camel Valley Vineyard again in Nanstallon.

Further beautiful riverside and woodland walks are found at Respryn, which is again nearby and not to be missed are the ruins of Restormel Castle only a short drive away.

Bodmin is also only 2 miles away offering many historical places of interest. The newly refurbished Bodmin Jail provides fantastic dining experiences and of course, the Jail Museum is another ‘must see’ venue. The Bodmin and Wenford Steam Railway is a very popular attraction which is well worth visiting and Lostwithiel, with it's many antique shops and period buildings, is just 4 miles away.

Pipistrelle truly does offer the perfect base for keen golfers, walkers, cyclists or for anyone who just wants to relax in the countryside BUT the nearest beach at Par Sands is also only 15 minutes away ! Being situated near to the A3” and A38, you are within 30 mins of Newquay, Padstow, Mevagissey, Fowey and Charlestown- beautiful coastal harbour towns.

The space

The accommodation is well designed and spacious for the larger group or family to enjoy.

There are two double bedrooms and a twin bedroom on the ground floor together with a bathroom with bath, separate shower and toilet, there is also a further separate toilet. Upstairs there is a further double bedroom. The open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area is such a lovely space which provides for a relaxing and sociable area. The kitchen is well equipped and offers all you would need to enjoy your holiday catering.

Outside there is a fully enclosed and private lawned garden with hot tub, Chimnea, outdoor seating and barbecue.

There is private parking and free wifi is available.

Local facilities are available in Lanivet, Lostwithiel or Bodmin, which include Doctors, pharmacy, shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. Bodmin has a wide selection of supermarkets.
