Description
Our secluded Gite La Pradelle sits at the foot of Château de Biron, close to the Bastide of Monpazier. Set in a peaceful tranquil setting, within walking distance of this stunning 12th Century Château and the village of Biron, with its restaurant and épicerie.The single story Gite boasts a private pool for sole use, with a large terrace and a barbecue area for guests to relax in the evenings, watching the sun set. It is set within a large fully fenced garden area.
The space;
The Gite has a well equipped kitchen for preparing meals with everything you should need for your stay, including dishwasher and a clothes washer. A large outdoor terrace for dining by the pool and for those cooler evenings a cosy living area with log burning stove. Two bedrooms have French doors and easy access the outside terraces and pool. There are two double bedrooms (one ensuite) and a separate bathroom, with an additional twin bedroom (additional charge for more than 4 guests). A 10 x 5 chlorine pool with paved surround and a covered BBQ terrace completes the space.

The property is accessed via a quiet rural no-through road with a private drive and parking. The single story stone property allows easy access to the pool, terrace and garden area.
In addition, there is and electric car charging point in the village.

By Sara S on 27-Aug-2024We had a fantastic holiday in this beautiful gite. The location was perfect- quiet and peaceful but within walking distance of two lovely retaurants and an epicerie. Lisa was there to welcome us and always on hand to answer any questions. 5 stars!
Un superbe havre de paix
By Helene B on 29-Jul-2024Quel plaisir de retrouver la maison de Biron ! Le cadre est magnifique, reposant, calme. La maison offre tout le confort nécessaire. La piscine est un vrai bonheur pour se rafraîchir et se détendre. Lisa qui nous accueille est vraiment adorable et très à l’écoute. De très chouettes sites à visiter aux environs : le cloitre de Cadouin, les bastides de Monpazier, Monflanquin et Villeréal.et bien d’autres à découvrir .
A lovely stay in Biron.
By Bernadette on 27-Jul-2024The gite surpassed our expectations. It is in a lovely location in Biron and the gite is clean, has a well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. The outside space is exceptional and has plenty of comfortable seating overlooking the pool. Lisa and Mike were very good and sorted out any problem quickly. Their local knowledge was also very helpful in recommending places to visit and local restaurants.
Peace and quiet.
By Ian T on 09-Jul-2024Property was excellent and very secluded. Well equipped too. The pool was the cleanest we have ever had. Lisa, the property manager, and partner Mike were a delight. Left us in peace but were easy to contact if needed. Wonderful two weeks and wouldnt hesitate to return.
A lovely location; very peaceful
By Duncan Meikle on 06-Jul-2024We spent a most enjoyable two weeks at this property in an area we know well and it lived up to our expectations. We would score it 9.5 out of 10. The facilities were excellent and the garden very spacious and well-kept. Lisa and Mike were very attentive and helpful. Just a small number of niggles: The antique furniture in the en-suite bedroom had a very strong smell (of antique furniture) which was a little overpowering. A few more hooks around the place would be useful. The lounge/diner was on the small side and rather poorly lit. The robot pool vacuum cleaner got in the way on occasions. We would visit this property again without hesitation
