The Forge cottage is a cosy 2 bedroom with a wood burner, underfloor heating and a private enclosed garden, perfect for guests bringing dogs. Situated at the edge of the sheep pasture, providing idyllic views from the garden. Converted from an old blacksmith's house, this cottage encapsulates rural luxury at its finest. At Broadgate Farm Cottages there are walks from the door and the historic market town of Beverley is situated nearby, perfect for shopping or exploring the historic Beverley minster (constructed in the 13th century).If this cottage is booked we have 4 other 2 bedroom cottages available and 3, 4 and 6 bedroom cottages available for larger groups.

2,3,4 & 6 bedroom luxury self catering cottages in Beverley, East Yorkshire. Broadgate Farm is set in the Yorkshire Wolds just two miles from the market town of Beverley, close to Beverley Westwood the holiday cottages have been converted from period farm buildings. They all have toasty eco-friendly central heating and are individually designed, each one has a private garden/patio area and the farmstead is set in 19 acres of grass & woodland with lovely views across the fields.

All cottage have oak & stone floors with underfloor heating, private gardens and wood burning stoves in most cottages. Quality furnishings and sumptuous fabrics, comfortable sofa's and beds, fully equipped kitchens and modern bathrooms, freesat TV and free WiFi.
Most of our bedrooms are flexible so the twins can often convert to superkings and in several cottages there is room for put up beds for children under 14 at additional charge. Some cottages have one bathroom others two.

By Compass40494351934 on 11-Feb-2025Such a lovely place. We stayed there for few nights with two small kids. They loved the cottage and surrounding farm. It was very clean, cosy, with beautifully designed interior. Elaine was very welcoming. The farm is just 5 minutes drive from beautiful town of Beverley, which has plenty of restaurants, shops, there is even a playground by the shopping centre. We also visited The Deep, which was only 25 mins drive from the farm and kids were so happy to see the penguins. We would definitely try and come back when the weather is a bit warmer. Thank you very much!
Excellent comfortable cottage with disability access
By Stephanie B on 21-Nov-2024My parents stayed in Foldyard cottage for 10 days while have renovations works done. The cottage is very comfortable and well equipped. I was able to cook every meal there for them in the excellent kitchen. My dad has mobility problems and the cottage is spacious enough for him to move around easily with a walker. The underfloor heating means the cottage is consistently cosy throughout, they were very happy there. I've stayed in many cottages all over Yorkshire and it's definitely one of the best.
Excellent cottage for short or long term stay

There is everything you could possibly need for a short or long term stay in the cottage. The cottage was extremely clean and comfortable and the location is extremely peaceful yet still close to Beverley and easy access to York. Elaine and the staff at the cottages could not be more helpful and I plan to stay again on my next visit to the UK.
First Class Accommodation

The cottage was spotlessly clean, warm, cosy, well appointed and it had a superking bed, which was a bonus. It was so peaceful and we had beautiful views over the fields. Only a short distance from Beverly, and a minutes drive to the local pubs (we would have walked in the Summer).

Great place.
By Sylvia O on 31-Jul-2024We chose Foldyard Cottage mainly for its accessibility as my husband has difficulty walking. We were not disappointed - everything was on the level and there was a grab rail by the shower. A shower seat and dining chair with arms were available on request. I like the eco ethos of the place. Everything was very clean and well-appointed. The bed was the most comfortable I've ever experienced in a holiday cottage. The whole place is beautifully done out. The courtyard garden was a lovely place to sit and eat, with a large table and parasol, it could easily accommodate 8 people. The surrounding area is beautiful and if you are a keen walker there's plenty to attract you here. The north-east coast is not too far away and I got to see puffins for the first time at Bempton Cliffs - bonus! There are several very good pubs and restaurants nearby.
