Thank you Elaine for an amazing stay at your beautiful farmhouse this week. All the children and adults had an lovely time. We were all impressed about how much careful consideration had gone into making the break so special. There were ample cutalry, plates, glasses. The kitchen was well stocked and accommodated our group of 14 very well. Small details like books and games to keep the children entertained were excellent. The very big guide book in the property with suggestions of places to visit was very thorough. It was very helpful. We were even given discounted offers for places to eat and for the kids adventure play park William's Den which was amazing. We found Beverley to be such a gem of a place to visit. I cannot praise this property enough for a family break not only for the setting but for Elaine's warm welcome and hospitality during our stay always at the end of the phone to answer any random questions we may have (like which Pub in the village would be showing the Cricket World Cup live). Thank you for making our holiday so personal and memorable.
We hired both High Barn and Foldyard which, used together enabled our family of 12 (13 including the dog) to have our annual holiday together. It’s never easy to find a place large enough to accommodate us all plus are dog friendly. Broadgate Farm’s combination enabled three generations to be together with enough bedrooms for each ‘group’, plenty of room to eat together, cook big meals, and have space so we didn’t feel on top of each other. The entire place was immaculately clean (felt bad leaving it used!) and was well stocked/furnished (also good range of books and games available). Plenty of plates, glasses etc, large table to sit round to eat, plus enough room to sit and watch a bit of tv in the evening. Well presented and informative guide to the property and what to do locally. Good location for walking to the pub. In fact, not sure there’s anything negative
We stayed as part of a large group for mum and dad’s 60th wedding anniversary. There was plenty of room for all of our large group ranging from 4 years old to 80. Lovely peaceful setting and cottage was very well equipped with everything you might need away from home. Perfect end to the break when Elaine let all the ewes and new lambs graze in the field next to the cottage so the children could see them before we left. It was much appreciated, would recommend to all. Thanks.
