This was our first time visiting the area and staying at Broadgate Farm. We were a family party of 7 ranging in age from 4 - 93 years, with one member a wheelchair user. It is so very difficult to find accommodation to meet all our needs with wheelchair accessibility. Everything was just perfect. The owners made sure we had all the necessary equipment in place to be able to use the accessible wet room without any issues. There was plenty of space to move around and every need was catered for. We were greeted on arrival and a lovely welcoming hamper was waiting for us. The Cart House 4 was just beautiful, comfortable with stunning views over the fields. We cannot rate these holiday cottages highly enough as everything was just perfect except the weather. It had other ideas! Despite the weather we had the most relaxing, enjoyable holiday in the East Ridings of Yorkshire and will certainly be looking to book again. Thank you so much.
Our family, includes my very disabled husband( locked-in syndrome) and a carer, as well as myself, grown up children and partners, a friend and A dog. It is really difficult finding lovely, high standard accommodation that meets all our needs. But we did at Broadgate. Staying in the 4 bedroom Cart House gave us lots of breathing space, room to manoeuvre a large wheel chair and plenty of privacy. The owners willingness to allow us to bring in a hired profiling bed and hoist, and suggest a great place to locate it, allowed us to have a lovely stress-free holiday. Thank you. We will definitely be back!
We stayed in the four bedroomed Cart House with family and friends to celebrate my birthday. It was fantastic in every way. The size and space was incredible, as were all the ensuite bedrooms. The kitchen is magnificently equipped with crockery, cutlery and glassware, that I have not come across anywhere before. Cannot fault the accommodation in any way.
From our arrival on Friday evening to our leaving on Monday morning everything was perfect. Our family had two cottages, the large Cart House with 4 bedrooms and The Granary with 3. Both cottages were beautifully decorated, comfortable & cosy. The lovely welcoming touches were very much appreciated, locally made biscuits and beers, delicious. Elaine, the owner, was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Elaine also came to take us to see the newborn lambs in the field, this was lovely for all of us particularly our 4 year old twins. We all had a wonderful weekend and would be more than happy to visit again. Thank you Elaine!
