We had an absolutely amazing stay despite the weather which wasn't the best at times, the villa made up for it. We managed to use the pool which was really great, just the right temperature and large enough to swim lengths if you so desired. The area is peaceful and relaxing, at night when the sky is clear, the silence and stars are something to behold, it is magical. Paul and Fi are the most perfect hosts, everything has been thought about and you want for nothing. Can not speak highly enough about them, they should be very proud of what they have achieved and we look forward to returning next year. Congratulations on the high star rating they have been given by the tourist board, no surprise and well deserved.
We’ve just returned from a fantastic 2 weeks staying in Le Chai. Paul and Fi are wonderful hosts and are happy to help and advise, ensuring a great stay. They were extremely helpful with both motor cycle and car rental, as well as information about fun events in the area. The villa is one of the best we have ever stayed in, extremely clean and well equipped with plenty of room for our large group of 11, ages ranging from 0 to 60! The pool is gorgeous and we used it everyday, as well as the various inflatables, football goal, soft archery and table tennis table. It’s very dark at night, perfect for star gazing with a glass of wine from the local chateau or wine cooperative. There’s plenty to do in the area and the villa is situated a 5 minute drive from the local village, with supermarket, bars, restaurants and a lovely boulangerie. In a word, our holiday was “parfait!
