Description
The Threshing Barn is an 18th century barn which has been converted into a comfortable, dog-friendly, 2-bedroom cottage. The downstairs open plan living area is light and bright due to the lovely large bay window. The sitting room has a 42" smart TV and an electric fire, so is great for cosy family film nights. The dining area has a dining table that can seat 4 and a free highchair is available on request. A separate desk makes a practical work space if you need to combine work and holiday and the cottage has free, fast Starlink Wi-Fi. The kitchen is well equipped with fridge/freezer, washer/drier and dishwasher. Upstairs there is a double bedroom (a travel cot is available on request) and an adjoining twin room with two single beds (the twin room can only be accessed via the double bedroom). The family bathroom has a bath with shower over.
The cottage has free parking for one car and shared use of 2 acres of gardens. BBQs are available to borrow. All guests can use the shared outdoor heated swimming pool (end of May to end of September). The games room is available all year, with table tennis, table football and toys for younger children. The highlight for many guests are the twice daily animal feed sessions. Everyone is welcome to feed the chickens, cuddle a sheep, meet the pigs and make a fuss of the guinea pigs.
