Raemoir House is only available on a private hire / exclusive use basis. It is not your traditional dry-hire self-catering venue, it comes complete with a full time team of staff including chefs allowing us to encourage our discerning clients to see the house as their own Scottish country pile for the time they are here, all we need from you is to be told what you want!
Imagine a few days in your own mini Downton Abbey, sitting in 15 acres of secluded and manicured grounds just 25 minutes from Aberdeen airport and city, that you can escape to at weekends (or during the week!) with or without a party of friends. Simply let us know ahead of time how many guests you are bringing, what you want for them to eat and drink, whether you want any entertainment organised (mini Highland Games, Clay Pigeon Shooting, Gin or Wine Tastings, etc., all done within the grounds or house) then you arrive and it will all be ready for you.
Although it is constantly being refurbished the house has never strayed much from its original design over the years but the most notable differences between Raemoir and many other similarly old houses for hire is that all our double bedrooms are ensuite and you have access to all rooms plus there is a team of private staff who do everything for you.
All of the public rooms are situated on the ground floor – the Sitting Room, Bar, Garden Room and Dining Room as well as the larger Georgian Room that can be used as a dining room for larger parties or an activities area. All rooms benefit from large windows providing wonderful views over the surrounding countryside adding to the overall indulgent and relaxed atmosphere afforded at Raemoir.
There are numerous opportunities for activities on the doorstep whether it is a Mini Highland Games or Clay Pigeon Shooting in the secluded grounds or the infamous Scottish Castle Trail including the Royal Family’s summer home Balmoral, the equally popular Whisky and Golf Trails, Fishing, Activity Parks, local Villages, Breweries, Highland Cattle, Horse Riding, Cycle Hire and the Cairngorms, plenty of variety to suit all tastes!
