Situated in a stunning open countryside in a quiet corner of the The Lake District National Park overlooking the villages of Bampton Grange and Bampton and close to the Haweswater Reservoir.
The Stone Barn is a typical 16th c-17th c traditional Cumbria stone barn which has been carefully restored with traditional methods and renovated to the highest standard as a luxury holiday home. There are exposed stones throughout the barn as part of the feature, 2 Oak Kingpin Posts in the full height hall, with an additional log burner. All the ground floor of the barn is heated with underfloor heating.
On the outside, there are a number of large paved sitting area through out the ground, as well as patios with pub benches, lawn, garden and no immediate close neighbours to worry about outdoor celebrations, and extensive hard standing parking on the site.
Features & Facilities
The barn has 7 ensuite bedrooms, which is divided into 2 parts; one part of the barn has 2 en-suite double bedrooms, it’s own open plan sitting & kitchen/dinning room, and, can be self contained.
The other part is a 5 en-suite bedrooms barn; with one large family bedroom (a double bed, and a fun bunk bed), 3 bedrooms with double beds (2 on the ground floor) and another bedroom with king size bed. There is a large open plan sitting-dining-kitchen area on the ground floor which enables the group to dine together. Comfortable and yet very funky sofas surround the log burner in the sitting area.

The barn has an open plan layout. The kitchen has a large island. The open plan lounge area with 2 large-super comfortable-sofas, Log burner, and dining.
