Perfect host and accommodation. The weather was not nice while we were there but that brings out the charm of this cozy cottage and it would be lovely to also visit in summer with the BBQ etc. Many thanks.

Super cottage in beautiful Northumberland

By Philip R on 04-Sep-2023

Great place to stay for families. Lovely views from the cottage onto the sea. Very well equipped kitchen and a very pleasant place to stay. Lots to see and do in the local area and some of the best beaches in England not too far away. Would highly recommend.

Half term break

A lovely cosy comfortable cottage with beautiful views over the bay. It was clean and well equipped and we were even provided with a delicious homemade welcome cake. Would love to return in the future

Great location and lovely old cottage

By Chris M on 15-Nov-2022

Great views from front room and master bedroom over the mudflats. Lovely old cottage with unusual layout (sitting room tucked away through doorway that looks like under stairs cupboard). Location good with Bamburgh a few miles down the road and near the A1. Really good base for Northumberland coast & would definitely recommend. Lovely welcome pack from the owner too. One point to consider when booking is that the entrance to the courtyard to park your car is really tight for larger family cars. We were fine but it took careful manoeuvring each entrance and exit which some may not be comfortable with. There is one spot to park by the side of the road if you don''t fancy getting your car into the courtyard (it''s outside the front of the house but you need to walk a few minutes round neighbouring houses to get to the door and would spoil the view from the front room)
