Description
STB 5-Star. Converted from an 18th century mill, Weiroch Lodge offers idyllic luxury in the seclusion of the hills and forests in beautiful Morayshire. It is the perfect choice for those requiring peace and privacy together with quality and style. From the superbly equipped kitchen to comfortable tweed sofas and antique furniture, the accommodation has the ambience of a traditional hunting lodge in miniature.
Weiroch Lodge sleeps up to 6 guests with reduced rates for 3-4 and 1-2 guests using less bedrooms. A further reduction is available for couples using the ground floor only. One dog may be accepted by prior arrangement (rules and small fee applicable). Children under 12-years may be accepted by prior arrangement. The accommodation is not suitable for toddlers or babies.
The spacious accommodation consists of three luxury en-suite bedrooms, one on the ground floor and two upstairs, a huge kitchen diner, a spectacular vaulted drawing room with woodburner, a utility/boot room and an additional WC/cloakroom. Outside there is a large fully fenced garden with lawned area and a courtyard with picnic tables for outside dining.
A haven for walkers and nature lovers, Weiroch is surrounded by panoramic views and abundant wildlife with deer, hares and red squirrels often seen in the gardens. If you sit outside, you will probably only hear the sheep in the fields and the wind rustling in the trees, no traffic, just peace and quiet. With over 800 acres of forest adjacent to Weiroch, you can walk for miles along the little-used tracks or take a stroll to follow the path beside the River Spey. Access onto the world famous Speyside Way is just a few minutes across the fields.
Although tucked away, Weiroch is actually only a couple of minutes from the A95 with access to the many attractions that Speyside has to offer, including historic Castles, golf courses, the Cairngorms National Park, and many old fishing villages and sandy beaches dotted along the Moray Firth coastline. Speyside is world famous for it's whisky so there are numerous whisky distilleries in the area to visit, some within walking distance of Weiroch.
Please note: The owners house is situated about 100 yards beyond the Lodge. If you need information or wish to use our housekeeping or catering service, please feel free to ask as your holiday enjoyment is paramount to us. Other than this, you will not be disturbed.
