Description
Downstairs
The open-plan living and dining room at Golightly has plenty of space for everyone to enjoy some quality time together. So you can all relax and recharge for a while. Its cosy leather sofas and an upholstered armchair are perfect to sink into when you return to your holiday cottage after a fun-filled day out. Maybe you’ll watch a movie on the Smart TV with Freeview? Or sit and chat about your next day of adventures.
With a large dining table that seats up to 10 to 12 guests, this is the perfect place to gather. Especially if you are part of a larger group that are staying in several of the farm cottages.
Golightly has everything you’ll need to rustle up a tasty meal or a satisfying snack during your self-catering holiday. The kitchen is well-equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer, coffee machine, toaster and kettle. Plus there are plenty of utensils, cutlery and crockery too. Golightly also has a washing machine, tumble dryer and ironing facilities – always a bonus when you’ve been exploring the great outdoors.
Upstairs
When it comes to getting a good night’s sleep, we’ve got you covered. There is a triple/family room with a double and single bed along with a bedside table and a built-in wardrobe. So you can unpack and make yourself at home. This room is ideal for parents (or the grandparents) and a child; three siblings or even friends. There is an additional twin bedroom – also with bedside tables and a fitted wardrobe. The third bedroom is smaller, with bunkbeds (with storage underneath) and a small tallboy unit. The beds will be made with quality bed linen, all ready for you to sink into. We hope you enjoy some relaxing lie-ins whilst you’re here!
The family bathroom is also upstairs. It has a P-shaped bath with a shower over. So whether you want a luxurious soak in the bath before bed or a refreshing shower when you wake up, it’s up to you! Fluffy towels are provided. There’s also a heated towel rail, WC and wash hand basin.
Outside
You’ll have your own patio to the front of the cottage, along with garden furniture. Make the most of the idyllic setting and enjoy your morning cuppa out in the fresh air listening to the birds singing. Or maybe you’ll enjoy dining outside on warmer evenings. There is also a large shared and enclosed garden.
