La Maison Blanche is a spacious family cottage situated in a hamlet within walking distance of the river Saone and within a short drive of Macon. Bordering the regions of Bresse, Burgundy and Beaujolais the one storey cottage has been tastefully renovated, and is convenient for fishing, golf, sightseeing, and cycling. A marina is located in the market town of Pont de Vaux, just 8 kms away, offering river trips and a tourist office. Local amenities in the surrounding towns are available including, shops, restaurants, bars and a leisure centre. To the east lie the plains of Bresse and to the west the fine wines of Burgundy and Beaujolais. The small village of Chardonnay lies just across the river from Asnières and a wine route can be followed in the surrounding villages.
The cottage has a large enclosed garden at the back and is safe for dogs and providing an ideal playing space for children, along with off road parking. With 2 berooms it comfortably sleeps 4 and a baby with a cot available. There are facilities for outdoor dining. The laundry room includes a washing machine and dryer, iron and ironing board. While the lounge and dining area has TV, DVD player and there is wi-fi throughout. The rustic style kitchen has a gas cooker, microwave and fridge-freezer.
