About this space
Lovely cottage in converted granary, retaining much of its character including exposed beams.
Situated quietly in the centre of a beautiful north Hertfordshire village, steeped in history.
Walks accessible from the cottage.
All amenities (3 dining pubs, small shop, baker, butcher, chemist) within easy walking distance. Nearby attractions: easy access to Cambridge and London by train plus several National Trust/English Heritage properties.
Car strongly advised - private parking. No dogs/other pets allowed and strictly no smoking/vaping in cottage or courtyard garden. Children welcome but please check sleeping accommodation works for your family (1 king and 1 double bed). If visiting with infants/young children please note that we do not provide travel cots/highchairs/stairgate etc so please bring your own.

A terraced cottage in a converted barn in what was an old granary, located in a private area with other converted barns.
The cottage is centrally located in the village and it is a short walk to all amenities including the small village shop, pubs, bakers, butchers and pharmacy.

Lovely place, and very clean. Nicki was very responsive with her communications, and the information about the house and the surrounding area was great. Lovely village, was great to explore and look at all the old houses there. Will defiantly book here again! Many thanks for having us! 5*s

Faultless host

Stayed here for 4 night while visiting family in local area. Beautiful little village, house and was spotless, had everything you needed for your stay including fresh milk,coffee/tea on arrival. Nicki was a faultless host. Always easy to contact and responsive with reply. Would definitely recommend and stay again when visiting area. 10/10
