We had a wonderful relaxing stay in this beautiful and spacious tithe barn. It was brilliantly kitted out and so comfortable! George and family made us so welcome and also baked the best scones and sourdough bread! We would love to return!
We couldn’t have loved our stay at Tithe Barn more! A stunning property with loads of comfortable room, especially for only the two of us! George was utterly helpful throughout the process and we certainly appreciated our cream tea on arrival and sourdough bread and homemade jam later in the stay. The weather for our visit was beyond wet but that made it that much better to come back to our home from home to hang out and listen to the sounds of rain outside. Would totally recommend this property, though part of us wants to keep it for ourselves
Wonderful stay at Tythe Barn (despite typical February weather of torrential rain!) The accommodation is spacious, comfortable, very well equipped and beautifully decorated. Our teenagers spent many happy hours in the games room playing darts, table tennis and pool. The property is a short walk from the centre of Ashburton and ideally located for exploring Dartmoor National Park. Rosie and George were excellent hosts. Great communication and lovely personal touches such as a welcome cream tea and delicious sour dough bread. Highly recommended.
One of the nicest holiday cottages we’ve ever stayed in - not just charming, but also spacious and warm and practical. George was a lovely and very helpful host. Highly recommended.
We spent a wonderful Christmas at Tithe Barn. The Barn is beautiful, spacious with 3 gorgeous bedrooms all with excellent ensuite bathrooms, well equipped kitchen and walking distance to Ashburton. The games room was an excellent addition and we enjoyed lots of family time playing darts and table tennis. George is a wonderful host, providing lots of advice from where to eat, where to do our Boxing Day swim and even recommending a local farm to purchase our xmas turkey. The cream tea on our arrival was a lovely surprise and the homemade bread and jam delivered by George one morning was such a lovely gesture and certainly went down a treat with the whole family. Highly recommend Tithe Barn and really hope we can return one day in the future. The photos on the airbnb site certainly do not do the Barn justice, it is so much more beautiful, welcoming and tastefully decorated. A truly beautiful barn situated in an excellent location close to both surrounding countryside and the coast.
We loved our stay in Ashburton. The barn is so beautiful and spacious. Our boys really enjoyed the games room. George and Rosie were super friendly and helpful. Kitchen was very well equipped and the bathrooms superb. It was an easy walk down to town where there were lovely shops and cafes. We hope to come again!
