We stayed for 3 nights with 2 Labradors. The cottage was spotless with everything you could need. Very comfortable and completely enclosed garden which my dogs enjoyed. Lovely area and close to many attractions. Great communication with owner. Really enjoyed the comfort of this fab cottage!
The main reason for our trip was for Alton Towers and the Peak District, so the location was ideal, and quiet too. We flew into Manchester and the roads down to Waterhouses were straightforward. Cottage was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. The cottage has everything we needed. The welcome basket went down a treat too, especially with the kids. Communication with the owner was timely, with clear and easy arrival and departure instructions. I definitely recommend.
Great location, clean and very well presented. Great to have a good mattress on the beds and 3 toilets is great. Excellent that little bits and bobs were provided, like a welcome basket, tea, coffee, condiments and soaps etc. Overalll a fantastic location and would definitely recommend for Alton Towers as only 7 miles away and a great base for exploring the peak district. Would have to say its one of the cleanest properties we have stayed in.
Immaculately clean, cosy and comfortable, we had a lovely May half term holiday in this lovely house. Easy to reach, communication was excellent, and everything was provided for. It is ideally situated, close to Alton Towers, Peak Wildlife Park and close to stunning views. the Country Garden cafe down the road was very good and sold excellent sauces! We visited Heights of Abraham, Chatsworth, Alton Towers, our girls fed the meerkats at Peak Wildlife Park which was their holiday highlight, Treak Cliff Cavern, Gladstone Pottery Museum where Pottery Throw Down is filmed and a decorating workshop at the Emma Bridgewater Factory. Thank you Inez!
Lovely stay here at this lovely cottage. Has everything you would need plus more. Board games were played. Kitchen was so well stocked, if you needed it, it was there. Lovely welcome items too and all info provided ahead of time and clear and precise instructions. En suite is a lovely bonus. Everything was very clean and in great condition. We stayed for an Alton towers trip - 15 mins away and only there in the evening, but you can tell in the summer months with some lovely weather the outdoor space would be very nice. I have nothing negative to say, great place to stay, thanks very much :)
Lovely cottage very clean and well supplied with everything you could need. Good location, rural enough for peace and quiet but only 35mins away from the Buxton and Bakewell areas. Good communication with clear arrival and departure instructions. Very enjoyable experience and a great holiday
