West Lodge

Very friendly welcome, perfect situation for walks and exploring this part of Scotland. Enjoyed being so close to the Loch, great for wildlife, we're sure we spotted a couple of Ospreys. The Peel farm shop is a short walk away ideal for breakfast, then there the Wee Bear Cafe in the other direction with their mouthwatering cake selection!

Amazing

By Miss Rosie Murray on 19-Jul-2019

There were 6 of us and a dog, the location, local amenities and house itself were absolutely perfect. 5 minutes from the Loch, a coffee shop/lunch venue, 10 mins drive from a shop but you still feel like you are in the middle of a beautiful countryside! Couldn't recommend the property or the lovely property owners enough

Rural & Rustic

By on 29-Sep-2018

Fabulous home I enjoyed for the whole week. Rural as I have mentioned and sitting on its own was very peaceful. The house is over 100 years old and has kept many of those characteristics. With a modernised kitchen and bathroom. With a car you are very close to golf courses and local towns with plenty to do. On your doorstep you have easy walking and angling. The house is very spacious with extra large bedrooms. Just choose your bed carefully as they are different from room to room. The living and eating areas are equally large for a group of 6. Do a little research of the area if you stay for the week and it is a good base for a variety of activities. The owner was very near and popped by to ensure everything was perfect.
