This place and location is just perfect,5min stroll to Ambleside and a 5 min stroll to Ambleside Pier if you are into water sports or just visiting the surrounding lakes and villages look no further than this place.
I stayed at this apartment with 2 friends . Always apprehensive when booking for others but we were delighted . The apartment was extremely clean , comfortable & well appointed. The location was a central base to visit all the different areas of The Lakes & was a short walk to the many restaurants in Ambleside. It was such a peaceful setting the Roe deer visited on a daily basis . The Owner Cathy could not have been more helpful & I’m sure this will be the first of many trips to this apartment.
Owners were very good... Helpful and responsive to queries. Apartment very nice and within easy walk of Ambleside. Would recommend and stay here ourselves again
Our fourth stay in this fabulous apartment, and it won't be our last. Very comfortable and great location. Saw the deer in the field next to the garden almost every day. Beds very comfortable and spacious rooms. Looking forward to our next stay.
Wansfell Apartment is extremely comfortable and very well equipped. Came for a short winter break and couldn't fault anything-only perhaps that we should have stayed longer. Lovely warm apartment with very pleasant outside patio garden which must be fabulous in the summer. Two superb large ensuite bedrooms and a very large living room looking out onto the garden area. The kitchen is well equipped - even includes a Nespresso coffee machine. Easy parking outside, with 2 parking spaces. Very quiet location, but an easy walk into Ambleside town centre one way or to the top of Lake Windermere the other. Always enjoy walks up Loughrigg-so easy from here-hardly needed to use the car. Will come back in the summer. Ambleside has alot to offer and couldnt think of a better place to stay.
Wansfell apartment is truly a delight. This was our third stay and I can happily say we'll definitely be back. The apartment itself is lovely, really well supplied, comfortable beds and is wonderfully warm on those chilly evenings. The three bathrooms are a handy bonus! It is located a short 5-10min walk into the centre of Ambleside, where you'll find lovely art shops, an amazing chocolate shop, and plenty of high quality outdoors and clothing shops to choose from, plus a great selection of restaurants and cosy pubs. You can walk directly from the apartment, or a short drive will take you to fabulous walking from Grasmere, Coniston, Scarfell and beyond. We can't recommend it enough!
