Description

Wansfell stands just above it. The property has 4 double sized bedrooms, 3 bathrooms plus a cloakroom. There is a superb living area, comprising kitchen/diner with seating for 8. A spacio
us lounge with oak and leather furniture and an elegant conservatory with fine views towards the Coniston mountains . Each bedroom has a good degree of privacy and is suitable for 4 couples, extended families or two families. There is a modern contemporary theme throughout the property with high quality furnishings and fittings in every room. Outside there is a comfortable seating area with BBQ and patio furniture.

Blue Hill House is located in Fisherbeck, just a short walk into the centre of Ambleside, yet located very well for numerous walks up onto the fells. There is an unfenced small beck running through the bottom of the garden, but this is away from the seating area. Driveway for 2/3 cars plus additional parking space behind the house
Although we do accept one dog, the garden area is not enclosed.

Lovely accommodation perfect for two families to come together for a break. It’s a short walk into the centre of Ambleside although it is down a steep hill. Highly recommended

Great location

We stayed here with friends (two families of four) over the New Year period (2017/18). The location was brilliant and we were able to park up and leave the cars as we could walk from the house everyday. It is a short (5 minute) walk into the centre of Ambleside where you will find plenty of pubs, shops and restaurants. The house was perfect for the two families sharing. Two ensuite bedrooms on the ground floor, cloakroom on the first floor and another family bathroom on the third floor with plenty of hot water for everyone. The underfloor heating with thermostats in each room was more than enough to keep the entire house warm and cosy. The large living room was perfect for chilling out after a day walking and the kitchen was well equipped. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a superb time again staying at this lovely property which is very comfortable indeed. It is well equipped and can't wait to stay there again!
