Description

This wonderfully rustic, and fully refurbished 1 bedroom cottage apartment, is everything you need for a relaxing stay in the Lake District. It is found up nine stone steps and through a section of gardens to your private entrance door. Enter into the cosy lounge / dining room with an open fire for cooler evenings. The bedroom is beautifully furnished with soft textures and a comfy king size bed to ensure a relaxing and peaceful stay. The bathroom is en-suite, with a bath and shower, ideal for long soaks after a hard day on the fells. The kitchen which has ample storage has been upgraded and is well equipped with high quality new appliances including ceramic hob, Miele oven, dishwasher and a small retro fridge/freezer. Outside the gardens are beautiful with views over the famous stepping stones and complete with garden furniture to enjoy al-fresco living. Dogs accepted by special arrangement to cover deep cleaning at the end of your stay.

Location location, Garden Cottage is all about location, the setting next to the river Rothay is peaceful and isolated yet close enough to walk to Ambleside and enjoy its array of quality pubs and restaurants. Avid walkers can try all levels of walks straight from the doorstep.

Fabulous cottage apartment. We had a lovely couple of days really enjoyed our stay will book again Thank you from Angus and Jessie, our dogs too
