Leave ReviewStargazing
By Bee Huntley on 09-Feb-2025Spent a delightful week at Glan Soch in October. Everything one could wish for: cosy, welcoming and quiet so that we could hear the sea. And when the skies were clear, amazing stars. Erin and husband are great hosts and very helpful. Worth seeking out!
New year

Little slice of heaven
By Suzan Ucmaklioglu on 17-Nov-2024Glan Soch is a little slice of heaven. We have returned three times now driving from London. The drive to get there is beautiful through Wales and the location is absolutely worth it. Glan Soch is peaceful in middle of stunning countryside, close to the sea & great hikes. On clear dark nights the sky's excellent for star gazing, the perfect place to switch off from the city, really unwind and come home to yourself. Abersoch is only a 5min drive, with easy access to great restaurants, good coffee and breakfast spots (book restaurants ahead of time in high season!). A gem of a location to explore the peninsula with ease, disconnect and detox from city life yet have close proximity to everything that brings added comfort. The home is cosey, and homely - its clear Emma and Elwyn care deeply for the cottage and for those that visit, at hand if needed yet discrete and unobtrusive - couldn't wish for better hosts. Come rain or shine Glan Soch Cottage is an utter delight.
Cosy, warm and clean
By Maria Blaney on 27-Oct-2024We've just returned home from a wonderful week at Glan Soch. The cottage is beautiful. Cosy, warm & clean where everything has been thought of. The bedding was the best I've ever slept on. Emma and Elwyn were the perfect hosts - being on hand if you needed anything but also giving you total privacy. The Lyn peninsular is a place to discover, with many beautiful walks and beaches only a very short distance away. Or enjoy walking the country lanes around the farms from the cottage. We really hope to be back to explore more of this area one day.
Our second stay
By Emily Stead on 06-Oct-2024Our second stay at Glan Soch, the first being 2 years ago. It is my favourite holiday cottage of all time; just a beautiful home from home with everything you could need in a stunning location. Perfect if you enjoy peace and tranquillity. I was travelling with my 14 year old daughter, we love the beaches in this area and the choice of restaurants and pubs to eat out in is many and varied. Emma and Elwyn are perfect hosts, there if you need them but never intrusive. We hope to visit again in the future.
Beautiful area
By Sharon Wassell on 15-Sep-2024First time visitors to both the accommodation and the area. Had a wonderful time. Area is very beautiful and peaceful. Cottage is spacious and well kept. Have already re-booked for next year.
