Description
Our gorgeous seaside holiday rental cottage is set right above Aberporth's family friendly Dolwen beach - recently voted one of the best in Wales. Sleeping up to 6 in three bedrooms (two doubles and a twin), plus two more in a comfy sofa bed in it's own room on request
. Enjoy stunning sea views from almost every room. Spot dolphins in the bay from the sunny conservatory or curl up with a book on the upstairs window seats.
Feeling energetic? You can have your toes in the sand in seconds and swim, sunbathe or explore the rock pools. Want a walk? The Wales Coast Path passes the house and leads to Tresaith to the North (the first mile of this path is inclusive access) and in the other direction a spectacular clifftop walk to pretty Mwnt beach with it's tiny whitewashed church.
The large enclosed garden makes it ideal for families with space to play. Areas of the garden are left wild to encourage insects, butterflies and birds and the bird feeder is always bustling with activity.
Furnished to the highest standards and with a fully equipped kitchen it's an ideal base to explore the West Coast of Wales or you could simply stay put and enjoy the spacious house, the garden, the views, the beach right outside and the village amenities, just a short walk away.
A cafe and beach shop are a few doors away, a pub and fish-and-chip shop are around the corner and a local shop, post office and chemist in the village centre.
As well as the many beaches along the Ceredigion coast the whole of the Pembrokeshire coast is within travelling distance for day trips as well as the Oakwood Amusement Park and Folly Farm, which has many indoor and outdoor attractions including a zoo.
Aberporth achieved "Plastic Free" status from Surfers Against Sewage in January 2018 for their efforts to reduce plastic pollution particularly from single use plastics. The campaign in Aberporth was led by the cottage owner Gail. Many of the businesses in the village have 'plastic free' accreditation and Golwg y Graig seaside holiday cottage was awarded 'plastic free' status in March 2019 shortly after opening, showing that reducing plastic can go hand in hand with a luxurious seaside holiday.
Sorry no pets at this time.
