Its name originates from the Carob tree, which lies in the colourful landscaped gardens. This villa is of a unique modern design and is considered to be in one of the most desirable areas of Northern Cyprus. Uninterrupted views of the Besparmak mountain range and the Mediterranean Sea make this a special location. Watch the sunset whilst enjoying a brandy sour from the roof terrace, or enjoy a quiet time hidden away from everyone else. Enjoy long lazy days in the Mediterranean sunshine. Choose between the pool or the local Turtle beach. Dine al fresco or choose to eat at one of the excellent local restaurants.
Villa Carob is suitable for families, couples and those whose interests include walking, dining out, historical ruins and a slower pace of life. It is is a beautiful modern villa which is decorated to a high standard both inside and out. We take considerable pride in the appearance and on going maintenance and improvement of the property. There is a door on the landing leading to the roof terrace which offers an alternative sun bathing, seating area or fantastic star gazing platform in the evenings. A mobile telephone is provided for your convenience (for internal North Cyprus calls only) but we would ask that you top this up at the local supermarket during or at the end of your stay. Free internet is included in the rental price. There is an information file at the villa with all the local contact numbers for restaurants, doctors and chemists. Outside: The garden has been perfectly landscaped to enjoy those lazy mornings and afternoons in the Mediterranean sun. Extensive terraces with ample garden furniture - 2 tables, chairs and parasols. Private 5m x 10m swimming pool, pool games and outside shower, sun loungers and cushions are provided for your enjoyment. Outdoor lighting and lanterns to enhance your evening entertainment. BBQ. Utility Room: Washing machine, ironing board, iron, clothes airer, torch, hot and cold water dispenser Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service. Whilst all high quality towels are provided, we would ask that you bring your own towels for the pool. Other: Large roof terrace with original hand made marble table and elegant seating, amazing mountain and sea views.

By Shaban on 07-Apr-2025We stayed at Villa Carob from April 7 for 10 days and really enjoyed our stay there. The host was very communicating during the whole booking process and even offered to help in booking airport transfers and car hire, which was really nice. The villa itself provided everything we needed, the garden was really impressive, although too cold to actually use the pool, we still managed to have breakfast around the pool on the large outside table. The rooftop had a nice sitting area with stunning views. Car hire is a must for a stay at this villa. We are regular visitors to North Cyprus and we will definitely like to stay at villa Carob again .
Fabulous villa
By Dinah on 06-Oct-2024Villa Carob is absolutely lovely and very well laid out accommodation. The living areas are spacious and a great deal of thought has been made to make all the areas comfortable and functional. The views are beautiful capturing the sea and mountains, and the mature garden is a delight, well screened and scented. We stayed in the middle of October and we enjoyed warm but not baking temperatures. There is plenty of outside space to sit and eat outside and we were always able to find some sun during the day, but the pool was definitely on the cool side. It is a great location for excellent nearby restaurants, Alagadi beach and for travelling further afield to explore the island.
Beautiful Villa Carob
By Ellen on 01-Jul-2024We returned 3 weeks ago from Cyprus where we were blessed to be able to stay in the most perfect Villa owned by the most friendly, helpful, amazing couple, Janet & John. This Villa is home from home and more! The villa its self has 3 double rooms, a main bathroom, en-suite in the main bedroom and a downstairs toilet. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need and the lounge area is spacious and comfortable. Air conditioning in the bedrooms and lounge along with ceiling fans. The pool is amazing and the surrounding garden and patio area is just beautiful. A lovely gated driveway for those who hire a car. We have stayed here 2 years running now and honestly…we don’t plan on ever staying anywhere else…ever!! We love Northern Cyprus, especially Kyrenia so we are extremely happy and feel very lucky to have come across Villa Carob in Catalkoy. Janet & John are so lovely. They kindly sorted out airport transfers and car hire for us. Above and beyond they always go to ensure our stay is as comfortable as possible. Thank you to you both for allowing us to stay in your beautiful Cyprus home. We can’t wait to come back next year and the year after and the year after that……you have got yourself regular customers 😀 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Villa Carob
By Barbara Maddox on 01-Dec-2023The villa was exactly as the description but with more to find and enjoy than expected. The views from the roof terrace to watch the sun setting behind the mountains being one of them. We were adopted by 2 cats and a little kitten during our stay. We have to admit that we did buy cat biscuits and this seemed to stop them pestering us whilst we ate. Janet was very helpful with any questions as was the management office when we had queries. Catalkoy village is an easy walk away. Unfortunately we didn''t realise this until the last day when we found the water bottle company. There are some useful shops in the village the grocers and bakery. There are 2 reataurants close by and are east to walk to. Eminems, a Turkish restaurant is a 10 minute walk and a bit further down the hill is the Fez. We used the Supreme supermarket often including buying takeaways from the deli counter. We enjoy fresh fruit in the morning and a Greek salad for lunch. We could get all that we needed from the fruit and veg market at the bottom of the hill on the main road. Definitely recommend the villa for families.
A perfect place for a North Cyprus holiday

Close to Kyrenia and also the lovely Turtle beach, and with easy access to some good restaurants, made it a good location. Set in a lovely scented, mature Mediterranean garden with a great pool, there were different areas to enjoy the outside space both in the sun or shade. This pretty villa had all the comforts of home. Spacious, clean and very comfortable. Janet was brilliant at organising a great taxi service and car rental, Arriving late we were really appreciative of the welcome pack. It all made for a lovely stress free holiday. We would love to come back.

By ALISON MARPOLE on 29-Apr-2023What a lovely homely Villa a short distance from everything you might need. Three ample bedrooms and two bathrooms with good quality bedding. The Villa is set in lovely gardens with a large swimming pool and an abundance of shrubs, trees and flowers. Plenty of room to eat with tables and chairs both sides of the Villa and on the rooftop Sun trap. Communication with the owners and the caretaker nearby was good and prompt. Wi-fi was excellent too. Would recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable family Villa. A car or taxi is required to get around. We would definitely return to Villa Carob
