We booked the villa in December 2019, as it gave us plenty of room for a party including three generations and three different families. We were looking forward to our visit to Sardinia (booked for August 2020) when the owner of the villa cancelled the holiday three months beforehand, as due to Corona Virus he was unable to get out the prepare the villa and compete work on the pool and no-one knew how the situation would unfold. He offered us the chance of a refund of the deposit or the chance to book again in 2021 with a discount. We chose the former, as we were planning the trip to celebrate post A levels and also had an 85 year old among our party!! Initially we were disappointed and waited for a couple of months to see if we would be able to get a refund for our flights (Easyjet and BA). BA have recently cancelled the flights and offered a refund (which is providing impossible to get as their phones are always busy), whilst Easyjet customers have been able to change the flight. We were also lucky to have booked car hire that we could cancel! Throughout the booking process the owner, Alan, was helpful and responded quickly. He also allowed us to book on a weekday, which was appreciated as it avoids the more expensive weekend flights. We do understand his reason for cancelling and hope to visit Sardinia one day!!
Alan is a great owner to deal with, he gets back to you straight away and has been wonderful in dealing with issues during the Covid19 pandemic- he refunded our deposit immediately no questions asked and gave us various options to postpone/re book later as well, whatever we wanted. Looking forward to staying at the villa soon!
Cest une ancienne maison rénovée est très bien équipée pour y sejourner. Elle est isolée dans les montagnes le paysage et relaxant si vous recherchez un dépaysement. Dommage juste sur un point, pour les gros dormeurs la maison nest pas équipée de store, elle possède des volets en bois laissant traverser la lumière mais il ny a vraiment pas de quoi gacher le sejour. La piscine est entretenue par le propriétaire très régulièrement. Il y prête une grande attention. Elle nécessite néanmoins la surveillance d'adultes sil y a des enfants. Il faut obligatoirement etre véhiculé. Dans l'ensemble nous etions 10. 5 adultes 5 enfants et nous avons passés un SUPERBE sejour dans cette maison. Le propriétaire retraité est joignable a tout moment est très agréable, l'accueil est convivial. Je recommande cette demeure la vue est imprenable.
