Casa Ferradura is a really special place. This beautiful villa is set in a stunning and peaceful landscape of green rolling hills. It was a delight to wake up to the stunning views in all directions. The villa is so tranquil and private, the most you will hear during your stay will be a frog chorus from the pond, many different birds and the buzzing of bees. It really does feel like a bit of paradise. The interior is very spacious but has a homely and cosy feel due to the underfloor heating, original art work and warm lighting, not to mention the wood burning stove. The instructions were extremely accurate and it was no problem to find. We loved relaxing by the pool and taking in the views - a hot outdoor shower after a swim felt like such a treat! Thanks so much Andrea. We loved our stay. This is by far the nicest villa my partner and I have ever stayed in and we would love to return. Highly recommended. A complete rest and reset in stunning surroundings.

A beautiful home located in the hills. If you are looking for a peaceful break in the sun this is the place for you. An immaculate home located in a wild part of southern Portugal. Fantastic for walking or running bird watching, wildlife and peace. We arrived and swam. walked, slept and read for 10 days. The kitchen is also very well equipped so if you enjoy cooking this home is great. We will definitely visit again.
This spacious and beautifully designed villa offers contemporary rustic style oozing with charm and serenity. From the croaking frogs in the pond, the abundant greenery of the garden and beautiful hill vistas surrounding the villa, this relaxing haven was a welcome break from the busier tourist areas near by. With breezes on the terrace, a pizza oven and an outdoor shower...what more could you want?
