Review on Villa Sol August 2022 Star rating. 5 STARS Re: holiday last week July, first week August 2022. Thank you Nicholas for another brilliant holiday at your villa. This villa proved again to be an excellent choice for our recent holiday for our family of six adults and four children (aged 6 to 12). The location is excellent - only five minutes walk to the seafront promenade and a similar distance to a supermarket. The layout of the villa is ideal for our family with grandparents in the upstairs bedroom and the four downstairs bedrooms suitable for two families of two adults, and two children each. With temperatures in the mid-thirties throughout our stay, most of our time at the villa was spent outside around the excellent swimming pool. With high hedges/ walls and an improved garden area, it is possible to find some shade at almost any time during the day. All rooms except the bunk bedroom (which has a fan) have effective air conditioning. Wi-Fi is also excellent. The large outside dining table was ideal for ‘al fresco dining. The kitchen is well equipped with more than enough of everything - pots, pans, tableware, glasses, and cutlery. All the appliances were in good working order. The addition of a second fridge since our last visit proved a real game changer in these extremely hot conditions allowing the option of chilled drinks. Overall, taking into account the price and facilities this villa proved an excellent choice for our holiday. N B. On our first visit here we hired 3 hire cars for the length of our stay. This year''''s hire costs would have been over 3000 euros, so we hired taxies instead. With everything close at hand, this did not prove a problem- and saved almost 2500 euros! Holiday dates permitting we would definitely return to this villa for another summer holiday.
You immediately feel at home as the house has everything you could need, it's comfortable and has a lovely feeling about it. It's in walking distance of a supermarket which is so convenient and also the beach and restaurants. Marbella, Puerto Bans and lots of fun and interesting places are near by. We would definitely return.
The villa was well appointed and comfortable, everything you would need for a family holiday. The grounds were beautifully well kept and the pool was the best we have had in many holidays...really clean and very warm. The location is extremely quiet and you are a short walk to the nearest shops and restaurants but we had a car so no problem. It's a lovely Spanish town and would definitely return again!
