Large villa on the popular complex of Casas del Sol. Retro feel with SMEG toaster, kettle and fridge freezer, air-conditioning, up-cycled furniture and beautiful traditional features, but with new kitchen and bathroom. The villa is in an enviable position, away from the noise of the road and ferry, but still with a slight view of the sea, perfect for relaxing, but with the ability to walk easily to all the amenities Playa Blanca has to offer. Bespoke furnishings and bedding and Egyptian cotton towels and waffle dressing gowns complete the makeover.

A large double bedroom and a large twin bedroom make this villa perfect for 4 people to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of the bungalow. There is a dishwasher, wifi, aircon, a new kitchen with granite worktops and a comfortable lounge area with 40" SMART TV to watch UK TV or the built-in hard-drive with numerous extra programmes (box sets such as "Breaking Bad", hundreds of movies, stand-up comedy shows and even a workout if you are feeling energetic).

There is an enormous, very private terrace with built-in barbeque and top quality furniture plus lots of space in the sun and shade, with new retractable wind breaks for use when necessary. The garden of the villa has beautiful, colourful bougainvillea and cactus which give it a tropical feel. The 2 tennis courts, (charged per hour on site), communal heated swimming pool and the beautiful gardens of the complex, as well as its location 2 minutes walk from the village with all its restaurants, bars and shops and closeness to beaches add to this.

We bought Casa del Barco (The Boat House) in 2015 from some good friends of ours when they were unable to travel. His hobby had been making model boats and he left some in the villa for us to enjoy. We have named the villa Casa del Barco because of this and have added to the nautical theme ourselves, as well as lots of modern touches. We think the villa now has the best of both worlds with a relaxed atmosphere, but with all the modern appliances to help make everyone's life easier. The villa is in our favourite part of the complex, allowing a lot of privacy.

We supply custom-made Egyptian cotton towels, beach towels, waffle dressing gowns and crisp, white, custom-made bed-linen to add the final touch of luxury to the experience.
