Mojacar is an historic Moorish town comprising of the whitewashed village Mojacar Pueblo ( recently voted the prettiest village in Spain) and the beautiful beach area of Mojacar Playa. This area benefits from more hours of sunshine annually than anywhere else in Europe.
The whole area has remained typically Spanish and, with all its low rise houses, local restaurants and chiringuitos it is perfect for people who want to taste a little of the real unspoiled Spain and share in the Spanish relaxed way of life!

The villa is situated in Izusa; which is known as the best maintained urbanizacion in Mojacar. It is a small, private cluster of bungalows situated around the swimming pool. It is about a five min walk from the beachfront with its long promenade with restaurants, shops and cafes to be explored and expansive sea views.

The villa itself has an amazing panoramic view of the Mediterranean and the Sierra Cabrera mountains nestle behind. In the stillness of the early morning you can often hear the fisherman’s voices as they head out to sea from the local fishing village, Garrucha.

We have a large roof terrace for sun lovers and a perfect spot to enjoy sundowners and enjoy the view! There are loungers on the rooftop terrace for your use. There is also a bamboo covered beautiful front patio for eating, drinking, relaxing and spending time together. It has a good view of the pool so you can watch as your children have fun.

The open plan living and dining area is fully equipped with smart TV with viewing package and Sonos sound bar. There are an assortment of books and games also available if you choose less screen time! The kitchen has been redesigned by our architect son and we have to say it’s perfect! We like to cook whilst in Mojacar so the kitchen has everything you might need to cook up a storm!

We have two recently renovated stylish bathrooms, one with a shower and bath and the other with a walk-in shower. Both have WCs.

There are two double bedrooms in the villa, one with a very comfortable king size bed and the other with twin beds. Both bedrooms have air con and ceiling fans. We also have a travel cot for a baby if needed.

All towels, linen and beach towels are provided.

The villa is extremely tastefully furnished and was recently completely renovated to a very high standard.

There is a private garden to the front of the property where you can BBQ and also a ‘man cave’ where bikes, golf clubs, beach chairs etc are stored. We are happy to share these with our guests.

Local buses drive along the Paseo de Mediterráneo regularly taking you the length of the playa and also to the village. Other buses take you to Turre, Vera and Garrucha where local produce can be purchased on market days.

The nearest airports are Almería, Murcia and Alicante where car hire is available. Coach transfers are also available from these airports to Mojacar. We however prefer to have a car as we like to explore the beaches and villages all along the coast - especially Agua Amarga and Playa de Los Meurtos where you can snorkel in crystal clear waters.

We’ve owned the property since it was brand new and still love it as much now as we did when we first found it!
