We stayed at Villa Violin for 1 week. The property is brand new and has been beautifully furnished. All furnishings are really high quality and very stylish. The pool area is fantastic with enough loungers, seating and dining table for all guests. There is also a BBQ and the garden leads right down to the sea front. The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of towels etc provided. The kitchen has all the equipment you need and there's a lovely dining area and lounge area. The villa is about a 5 minutes drive from Skala town centre and down a quiet road. Anastasia was a great host and was there to answer any questions we had and also bought us lots of extra treats including wine made from the vines in the villa's garden! We thoroughly enjoyed it and will hopefully be back. (We did take a few wrong turns to find the villa. If you are travelling to the villa look out for Revoil petrol station on your left as you head into Skala then take the right onto an unmade road and follow to the villa.)
We've just got back from spending 10 wonderful days at Villa Violin, Skala. The warm welcome from Tasia was much appreciated; nearly as much as her home-made cake and the wine from the vines in the garden. The villa is gorgeous Tasia has a great eye for design and the details in the decor make for a luxury stay. The location is tranquil with easy access to Skala (10 min walk) or Katelios (short drive). There's lots of great restaurants to choose from Galera in Skala is a favourite as Kelari in Old Skala ( the view is amazing as is the goat stew! ) The most family friendly beach in the world is nearly on your doorstep at Kaminia very shallow and perfect for younger children and the cafe is delicious. There's so much to recommend from a delightful host, luxury villa and idyllic setting we hope to be back to visit next year if it's not all booked up. Thanks again, Jac, Guy, Gabe, Eve & Ines
Villa was really great. Often the pictures of holiday homes/villas look miles better online, than they do in reality - not the case here. It really is as nice as it looks. It is modern, fresh and still feels new. Anastasia and the team were great hosts and went to great lengths to make us feel welcome, without it feeling overbearing. Location was good. Close enough to local amenities and a selection of decent beaches (few mins by car / 15 min walk), but far enough away from the tourist trap of Skala, for it to feel like a peaceful haven of our own. And to have an uninterrupted view of the sea was an amazing sight to wake up to each morning.
