We spent a week at Villa Wendy in early April together with our daughter and family. The property is ideally suited to families with separate sections for different parts of the family. We were greeted by a very generous welcome pack and the villa is spacious and very comfortably furnished. The outside space including an excellent outdoor kitchen BBQ was put to very good use and our grand children could not get enough of the heated pool. Highly recommended.
We have had a lovely week staying at Villa Wendy. Wendy and Richard were on hand to help with all aspects of our stay. The villa is beautiful, spacious and was spotlessly clean. The outdoor pool and terrace area was perfect for relaxing and the kids loved the pool. The villa is on the hillside and so has lovely views and is within a short drive of Javea as well as being a good place to explore the surrounding area from. Would recommend to anyone considering a visit.
This would have been our 2nd trip to Villa Wendy this year. The first was excellent in every way as it's a fantastic villa beautifully maintained by Wendy and Richard who are just the perfect hosts. However unfortunately our car broke down in Calais on the way and could not be easily fixed so we had no choice but to abandon our holiday completely. Because this was due to a car breakdown, despite having good travel insurance it would not cover accomodation costs unless we had to cancel due to illness. Essentially we faced losing the full cost of the accomodation and we were booked for 3 weeks! I rang Wendy as soon as we knew we would not make it and called her again when we got home. She was just so nice about things and we were so relieved when she told us she was going to refund ALL our accomodation costs. I guess when things go wrong like this you get to find out what the hosts are really like, as they were under no obligation to refund us anything in this situation. Needles to say we cannot thank them enough for their kindness in doing this but perhaps it's not surprising. When we visited the first time we really liked them. They are both just warm, very nice and genuine people who clearly really care about their guests. I think anyone booking their villa can be confident that if any problems do arise they will be dealt with really well by Wendy and Richard. We hope to return as soon as we can and hopefully actually get there this time!
