The Penthouse at Casita Palmera is a stunning luxury apartment for 2 people. The property has been furnished to a very high standard and features superb views across the ‘Valley of a Thousand Palms’.

The Penthouse features include oak flooring throughout, ‘one touch’ electric black out blinds, Hergom log burner, a high quality kitchen with induction cooking and a superb entertainment system complete with a 50” Samsung screen and a Yamaha sound system for you to enjoy Netflix and Amazon Prime.

The beautiful bathroom has an elegant Cambridge roll top bath, a multi-jet shower and thick, heavy, fluffy towels for your comfort.

The stunning bedroom is dressed with Egyptian cotton bed linen and a high quality mattress to ensure a perfect night's sleep.

The property has high speed fibre internet installed and is available in all rooms.

We also have our own very happy free range chickens so you can collect fresh eggs in the mornings - they're soooo good!

Pool & BBQ
The Penthouse has a completely private roof terrace for plenty of outdoor relaxation. In addition the Penthouse has a fantastic 12 x 5 meter swimming pool which is always heated to a very comfortable 30 degrees or more. There is a dome cover transforming it to an indoor pool to ensure that swimming in comfort is guaranteed throughout the entire year.

(Please note, the pool is a shared facility with our main house guests, always adults only apart from school holidays where we accept children 10 years +).

The beautiful view from the kitchen window looks across our gardens and the Haria valley.

The Bathroom...

A spacious bathroom with separate multi jet shower and traditional Cambridge roll top bathtub, in addition to WC and wash basin.

Open plan lounge dining room....

A fantastic, large space with vaulted ceiling.

The view from the large lounge window is truly stunning with views across Haria Valley and beyond.

The Hergom® wood burner sits on a raised volcanic rock plinth and is a real feature for the room. In addition to the fireplace, there is a stunning Minka-Aire® ceiling fan in the centre of the lounge vaulted ceiling.

Apple TV complete with BBC, ITV, Ch4, Ch5, Disney+, Netflix plus many European channels.
Yamaha® sound bar with subwoofer.

The apartment is fitted with high speed fibre internet usually around 100-300Mps.

The lounge has a comfortable 3 seater leather sofa with chaise longue along with a solid wood dining table and chairs with seating for 4 people.

Our stocked drinks bar also included, with many choices for a nightcap!

The bedroom.....

This really is an exceptional room, offering 180 degree panoramic views across the valley with far reaching views down to the ocean too.

Penthouse bedroom features include a quality King Size bed with firm mattress along with superb Egyptian cotton bedding. The bed is raised so that guests can enjoy the stunning views in relaxed comfort.

For a touch of class, the room is also fitted with electric blinds all round. At the touch of a button you can have complete blackout and privacy in a few seconds via the remote control system (the lounge also carries this feature).

The Roof Garden.

From the large french sliding doors you head out on to the private roof garden, complete with sun loungers and solid wood table and chairs.

The private garden has many flowers and herbs along with a grass area perfect for sunbathing.

The Heated Swimming Pool.
Its a decent size of 12 x 5 meters and never below 30 degrees, even in winter!
The pool works on a shared bases but only with our Main House Guests (generally adults only).

On a final note, all consumables like dishwasher tablets, washing powders, bin liners, firewood (for the cooler winter evenings) and drinking water are all supplied free of charge for the duration of your stay.

We'll always be here to meet and greet you and show you around the property on arrival and answer any questions you may have.

Its important to note that we have dogs and cats around the property (but obviously not in) so we suggest that if you are not an animal lover then it might be advisable not to book, because they will come and say 'hello' to you when you enter and exit the property!

This is without doubt the best self-catering accomodation we have ever stayed in. It’d be fair to say we are quite fussy about where we stay so when I say that this not only met out expectations but exceeded them you will get the picture. The location is a lovely peaceful village in the North of Lanzarote, and if you want a chilled, relaxed stay in a charming and tranquil environment then this is perfect. The village is close by and we enjoyed exploring the quieter part of the island having spent time on previous visits on the coast and in the South. Buy with a car it’s still easy to get to anywhere you fancy, best of both worlds really, The apartment is decorated, equipped and kitted out to a very high standard indeed - yet it is also super- comfortable and welcoming. Best bed I’ve ever slept in I think! I didn’t want to get out of it especially with the lovely views to the garden. Fresh eggs from the resident hens was an unexpected treat. Everything is super-clean and we were also reassured by the good attention to being COVID-safe in the village restaurants etc as well as everywhere we visited on the island. Everything we needed was provided and the many thoughtful little touches and luxuries all add to the experience. We were very touched by the gift of a bottle of lovely local wine when Marcus discovered it was my birthday. The welcome pack was also really helpful - especially the cold beer ready when we arrived! The pool really IS warm enough to swim in even in winter and is a good size for such a property, If you need some entertainment there’s plenty on offer in the apartment too - books, games, Netflix and more! Whether relaxing in the sun on the sweet private terrace or down in the garden by the BBQ, or cosied up by the wood burning stove looking out over the palms to the sun setting on the hills, the environment is one that encourages real relaxation. I have to also say that Marcus & Heidi could not do enough to make sure out stay was top-notch - thanks so much, you are the hosts with the most! We really didn’t want to leave!

This is an amazing apartment! Everything about The Penthouse showcases the care and attention to detail that Marcus and Heidi have for the property. You would be very hard pressed to find a better rental or location. Everything is spotless and of 5 star quality. From the bedroom, you have views over the hillside and palm trees and down to the sea. The lovely private garden and terrace with a sliding door from the bedroom is ideal for eating out and also for sunbathing. We love this area as it is so calm and peaceful. The garden and pool are beautifully kept and maintained. The terrace and BBQ area perfect for meals outside. The dogs and cats come to greet you and keep you well entertained! Marcus and Heidi also keep chickens and the eggs are delicious. We could go on and on in this review about how much we enjoyed our stay....... not enough space to mention everything! We will be back in 2022. Thank you both for a wonderful stay. Ian and Jane.

Wonderful apartment, wonderful holiday!

My husband and I stayed in the Penthouse over Christmas and had a fantastic, relaxing holiday. The apartment was everything we could have hoped for - well-equipped, very comfortable and totally private. Marcus, the owner, was on hand to help us with anything we needed. He gave us a great recommendation for a restaurant for Christmas Day and we throughly enjoyed the meal we had there. We loved chilling on the private roof terrace in the sun and walking to the local village which was authentic and quiet, full of locals rather than tourists! We will definitely return to the Penthouse as soon as we can!
