Description

This is a modern house with private pool and grounds situated in a quiet conservation area, a short walk to Lake Korrission and Halikounas beach.

With open plan areas, the house interior is cool and relaxing, there are three lounging areas, one with a Smart TV (connects to the internet) and media players including DVD. Also there is a Marley Bluetooth speaker in the summer lounge for your music.
There is a good 4G Wi-Fi reception throughout the house interior.
Three double bedrooms, two with en-suite shower rooms, the master has extensive views of the sea and surrounding countryside, the third with a separate family bathroom.. Further to this there is a small double sofa bed in a small lounge area allowing accommodation for up to 8 persons.
There is a large, well appointed indoor kitchen, large range cooker, double fridge/freezer with ice maker, chilled (filtered water).
The utility room has a sink, water softener and washing machine.
The dining area offers direct views of the decking and pool with a ground floor view to the sea.
Outside there is a kitchen with sink, hot and cold water, gas burners, a large BBQ with stainless steel racks and 3 shaded dining areas.
Two large decked areas surround the private, not overlooked pool which is 10 metres x 5 metres.
Shaded pergolas surround the pool and decking areas, there is an outside shower. The bathing area is private and unoverlooked.
The garden is formal around the house and the remainder is a rustic olive grove, the grounds extend to 1 acre, just over 4000 square metres, this is all fenced, gated and is secure, plenty of parking space next to the house.

Insect screens on all bedroom, bathroom & most other windows. Metal shutters on windows.
The house is supplied for up to 8 months of the year by hot water thermal solar tube panels, providing all the hot water needs. The house is very well insulated in the walls and ceilings. This enables the interior to remain cooler in summer and warmer in winter.

We are in a very quiet rural area, ideal for walkers and cyclists with interest in nature, flora, fauna and bird watching.
Walking and cycling guidance available. Extensive tracks and off-road routes for walking/cycling. Maps and routes available.
Quiet, private relaxation is the attraction of this location.

Lake Korrission has been featured on the recent ITV series The Durrells (2015-2019) and the local town and olive groves of Agios Matteos on Julia Bradbury's Greek Islands TV series (2020).
There are local restaurants within a 10 minute walk from the house.
The holiday resorts of Moriaitika and Messonghi are 10 minutes away by car where all your shopping needs can be catered for, also plenty of restaurants, bars and coffee shops.

We have an English speaking House Manager & Grounds Manager who is available to help you & answer any queries.
Approx 24 Kim's from Corfu Airport - takes about 35 minutes to drive.
A hire car is strongly recommended.

House is cleaned mid week & towels changed. Bed linen & pool towels changed weekly (or mid stay if you are staying 7 - 10 nights or more).
Free welcome pack of essential food items on arrival.
There is a small library of books, board games and DVD's for all ages if required. Visitors information book, local maps and guides.

A 50% deposit secures booking. Balance due 4 weeks prior to arrival. No booking fees and additional charges.
