We’ve stayed with our little boy (15 mnths) for two weeks in September. It’s been three weeks since and we’re still a bit in a holiday mode. From the first contact until the final goodbye (and even after our return to The Netherlands) Andrew has been a true professional and a perfect host. He really tried (and succeeded) to make us feel welcome and help us with all the questions and needs we had. The villa is very spacious and well equipped. So don’t bother bringing your own kitchen supplies: everything is available. Although we enjoy eating out (try A Cocheira, a brilliant little restaurant 5 min from the villa), we’ve cooked several times, especially on the BBQ by the pool. The pool is perfect to cool off and our son really enjoyed all the toys in the pool that were present. There are three large rooms that all have their own bathroom. The house is big enough to invite some guests, so our parents came over for a couple of days. The house is cleaned several times a week including a changing of the towels and fresh linen. Even when we were present, it was done with the utmost care of our privacy. For us, the location was perfect. If we just wanted to relax we stayed at the house which is located in a very peaceful neighbourhood. But with a 15 minute walk we were in the middle of the Old Town. As an alternative: the taxi fares are very reasonable if we wanted to visit f.e. the Strip. There’s a supermarket in 5 min that has all the basic groceries one needs. If we wanted to go to a large supermarket to get some specifics, the Pingo Doce, Lidl and Aldi are all within 20 min/5 min by car. There is enough parking space right next to the villa for the car. All in all, the location, the house and service was everything we’ve hoped for and more. 5 stars out of 5 because the site doesn’t allow to give 6!
We have recently returned from a wonderful 2 weeks holiday in Albufeira, staying at the fantastic villa. The whole experience of booking with Andrew was very smooth from start to finish. The villa is large and comfortably sleeps 6 adults. It has everything you need for a relaxing holiday, with regular maid service. There is a bar and a really good restaurant within 5 minutes walk, and the nearest supermarket is only about a 10 minute walk. The old town and beach is about a 25 minute stroll. If going to the strip probably best to take a taxi for 5-6 euros. All in all a fantastic villa. Thank you Andrew, we had a fantastic holiday.
We have just returned from a fabulous ten day holiday and would definitely recommend it! Andrew is very professional and I felt confident with the correspondence beforehand and with the assurances we received on arrival. The villa is spotlessly clean and very spacious allowing it to stay reasonably cooler in very hot weather! We only used the aircon at night in the 3 bedrooms and it was a reasonable 28 euros. We walked down to the Old Town every night which was a pleasant distance before dinner and sometimes got a taxi back for 5 euros including tip. If we return to Albufeira we will definitely be returning to the villa !!!
