A car is ideal, however for those that are more adventurous it’s a two and half mile walk to Ambleside, either over the countryside or along the main road. There are good local taxis, buses and a train station at Windermere. Bicycle hire is available at the bus and train station in Windermere. The cottage is within walking distance to Lake Windermere and local Hotels which have restaurants spas and bars. All cater for none residents.
The cottage provides comfortable accommodation. To the ground ﬂoor there is a downstairs toilet, utility and cloakroom. A well equipped kitchen, open plan dinning room leading to a large lounge with surrounding windows and french doors which lead down to the garden.
The second ﬂoor has three comfortable bedrooms and a family bathroom. This contains a whirlpool bath, W.C., sink and a walk in shower.
To the rear of the property is a large lawned garden and two patio areas which get the sun all day. Please note there are steep steps leading down to garden.
