The house, now on three levels, was built around an original 2-storey shepherd’s hut, and the kitchen and main bedroom feature the original stone walls.

Curved stairs lead up to the Belvedere at the very top of the house. This has a truly panoramic outlook and has two single beds. There is also a 'baby foot' in this room There is a further independent shower room with toilet on this level.
Stairs from the entrance hall lead down to an inner hallway with guest toilet and then into a spacious salon with comfortable sofas, tv and dvd player, games and books for all ages. French windows give access to the terraced gardens and pool below and there is a log fire for spring and autumn evenings.
At the far end of the salon double doors lead into the studio: a large double room with en-suite bath, kitchenette and private loo. The house is equipped with a washing machine.
Leading from the salon is the traditionally tiled kitchen, fully equipped with dishwasher, gas hob and electric fan oven. Oak dining table. Adjoining larder with large capacity fridge/freezer.
Glazed doors lead out east to the covered terrace with teak coffee table and chairs, and built in barbeque, and south to the main terrace, shaded by vines, a pergola and olive trees. The terrace has views down to the pool and over the mountains to the coast, 35kms away.
The 5 x 12 m infinity pool is equipped with immersion pool alarm, as required by French law, and there is also a wire fence enclosing the pool area. The gardens are not overlooked and there are breathtaking views from all areas, especially the infinity pool. There are mulberry, apricot and fig trees growing along the shady terrace.
