Description

THE OLD PRINT SHED is a recently converted barn adjacent to the Owner’s home – also a converted barn – situated in a tranquil location on the edge of the small village of Harberton with its Grade I Listed Church and 13th Century pub (within easy walking distance) lying 3 miles from the medieval town of Totnes which offers a wide range of shops, cafes, restaurant and pubs.

The accommodation comprises entrance porch, dining area with beamed ceiling, fitted kitchen and shower room on the ground floor and on the first floor a lounge and bedroom both with exposed roof beams.

Parking is within the adjoining courtyard across which, and up a flight of stone steps, can be found the south facing walled garden with table and chairs where guests can relax by the pond with views across the surrounding countryside.

The property is located within easy reach of the Dartmoor National Park and the beautiful sandy beaches of the South Hams, including Bantham, Thurlestone and Bigbury. Also a short drive away from the coastal towns of Dartmouth, Salcombe and Kingsbridge and the River Dart at Totnes.

Please note we ask visitors not to smoke inside the property and we are unable to accept pets.

Genuinely, a superb place and with the warmest of welcomes

We loved that the Print Shed was on the edge of a small, secluded village so was very peaceful and with great countryside views. The place itself was beautifully converted and we felt very comfortable and relaxed there. A great place to come back to after our explorations. Not only do you have a cosy cottage, you have sole access to a large garden with a pond, comfortable seating and sunshine morning and evening (weather allowing) Lin and Martin, the hosts, could not have been more welcoming or friendly and were always available as they live adjacent to the Print Shed. We would love to go back there again and would strongly recommend this place as a 2-person holiday home

Lovely accomadation.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Old Print Shed. This was a return visit to the property which was very clean upon arrival with the hosts making us feel very welcome. Nice size property for a couple in a quiet village with a good pub a short walk away. Would use again.

We loved it so much we returned!

We loved the Old Print Shop so much after our first stay in May that we booked again! This place is a real hidden gem, nestled in some gorgeous Devonshire countryside. Although bijou, The Old Print Shed is absolutely perfect for one couple and for exploring this beautiful county. The property has been renovated to an extremely high standard, with attention given to every detail, it is very well equipped with everything you will might for a break away from home and the owners have put together a great handbook with nearby places to eat and visit and some lovely walks. It also has its own private walled garden with countryside views, which is absolutely heavenly. The property’s hosts, Martin and Lin are really lovely and are on hand should there be any problems during your stay, but they are very respectful of their guests’ privacy. It is around a 25 minute drive to some glorious beaches and very close to the interesting and characterful town of Totnes. There is also a fabulous traditional pub in the village, The Church House Inn, which services fantastic home-cooked food, Very highly recommended and we hope to return. Thank you Martin and Lin.
