Description

Characterful cottage in the historic Cornish town of Launceston, 8 Duke Street is a great place to unwind with it's light airy rooms and charming features.

8 Duke Street is situated in the parish of St Stephens which is full of beautiful historic architecture - the church there dates back to the 13th century! The house itself is very old however the inside has recently been updated to a fresh and contemporary-yet-cosy style. The ground floor of the house is mostly open plan, with a beautifully refurbished slate floor spanning the well-equipped kitchen and lounge. A fire place with log burning stove serves this area and is available for guests to use - perfect for a cosy evening in after a day of exploring!

Just off the small hallway adjoining the kitchen, the newly refurbished bathroom can be found complete with shower and bath facilities.

The back door to the garden can also be accessed from the hallway and outside there is a wonderful lawn and patio space where guests can relax under the pergola on a summers evening or cook up some delicious food on the property's own BBQ.

The upstairs area of the the house can be accessed from the stairway in the kitchen. There are two spacious bedrooms, each light and airy and have a good amount of storage space. One room has a double bed layout and the other can be made up as a king or a twin room to suit guests requirements.

beautiful inside and lovely private garden. Two great sized bedrooms, one with a double and other made up to a 6ft bed. Living space very homely and comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

What a lovely place to stay.
