This was our second stay at Admiral Cottage and we enjoyed every moment of it! The cottage feels like a real home-from-home: it has all comforts such as big sofas, cosy bedrooms, a well-fitted kitchen and a lovely bathroom, plus stunning views over the harbour and a pretty front garden. It''s a calm oasis, so close to the hustle and bustle of Fore Street. Each day began with sunrise over the sea, the sun streaming in through our bedroom window, a brisk walk around the Island and fresh croissants from one of the nearby bakeries. We had a great day at St Michaels Mount, just 40 minutes away by bus, and a rugged hike along the coast from Zennor with stunning views all the way. As non-drivers we really appreciate the ease of public transport, the excellent walks and easy access to natural places. So if you do drive, leave your car at home! Big thanks to Melanie for providing such wonderful accommodation.
Admiral cottage was so lovely and tranquil. We came by train to St Ives and the location is perfect. Once you go up the lovely stone steps up to Academy Terrace and look out to sea it is hard to imagine that just below you is the hustle and bustle of Fore Street. The views from the cottage were just stunning and I couldn''t wait to look out of the window in the morning to see the harbor. The Attic room is just gorgeous. The location is perfect for everything. Minutes away from the shops, harbor and the beaches. Highly recommended and would definately stay here again
I stayed here with a group for my 30th birthday and absolutely loved it! The views were such a treat - views of the St Ives bay from both the lounge room and attic. It was the perfect central location with easy access to shops and beach. It was very clean and comfortable. Would absolutely recommend this lovely cottage!
