A lovely week

By Theresa & Gerry, Lancashire on 02-Mar-2024

Thank you for a lovely week in your cottage. Many walks from the door, great not having to keep driving. Hope to be back to explore more of the area and do walks we didn’t have time to on this occasion. Thank you for making us so welcome.

We’ve had another great week in this lovely cottage

By Bill & Kath, Co Durham on 20-Jan-2024

We’ve had another great week in this lovely cottage. Thank you Pat and George for your welcome and your kindness. It’s been very cold with snow, we’ve walked to Dungeon Ghyll, Elterwater and Loughrigg Tarn. Enjoyed food at Dodd’s in Ambleside. A great week!

It has been lovely to retreat to this this cosy cottage each evening

By Peter and Anne, Cheshire on 11-Jan-2024

Very fortunate to have a week of dry and mostly sunny weather, after recent weeks of rain and wind. Some sparkling frosty morning and clear bright air. Loughrigg Tarn and Great Langdale and are beautiful as anywhere and walks along the Windermere shoreline and near Hawkshead also greatly enjoyed. It has been lovely to retreat to this this cosy cottage each evening. Thanks again Pat and George for your welcome.
