A special location nestled amongst Bordeaux vines. Amongst many highlights two things make our house special: the view and the pool. This unique, secluded spot feels completely peaceful, the ideal place to get away from it all with family and friends, yet is only a couple of miles from town and all the amenities you need there and beyond in this spectacular region. A region that offers some of the finest wine and food in the world as well as many sporting, cultural and family activities.
This is an ideal place to come with family groups and children, we often come here as a family with children. The kitchen is well equipped and has everything you need to make large meals for many people. There are wonderful food markets every day across the local towns as well as an excellent supermarket less than five minutes drive. There are three spaces for dining, inside and two outdoor as well as a good Webber BBQ. The bedrooms are all generously sized and three bathrooms works well for large groups.
There is a lovely big landscaped garden for children to run around with herbs, fig, plum and apple trees in different seasons, as well as offering a stunning view the pool is fenced off and safe and there are nice walks nearby. By car there are many family-friendly activities nearby: chateaus, water parks, lakes and more. For adult groups the opportunities for dining and drinking some of the bets wine in the world are second to none. We know all the best restaurants in the local area, and are twenty minutes from St Emilion the prettiest and most welcoming Bordeaux wine town. The rest of the Bordeaux appellations are within easy reach, as are all the lovely wine and food areas of Bergerac. Bordeux city itself is less than an hour away by train, and is a wonderful day trip. Within 2.5 you can also be at the beach, exploring the Dune de Pilat, eating seafood in Arcachon, exploring Toulouse or marveling at the Lascaux caves. We could go on, and provide a guide to our favorite spots as well as being on hand with tips.
