Description

Number 2 is a beautiful stone cottage in secure private communal grounds with designated underground parking for two cars, a private hot tub on your balcony from which to enjoy stunning sea views and, if you can bear to drag yourself away, situated just a few meters from: the beach with its great mixture of sand and rock pools - perfect for all the family; the South West Coast Path; an 18 hole golf course; and a short distance from Looe, Polperro, Liskeard, and Plymouth. Built around 15 years ago, with all the charm and appearance of a period property, but furnished to a high standard with all the luxuries of modern living contained within. At the end of your holiday you won't want to leave! Whether you want to walk for miles on the SW coastal path or just let your children or dog run off some energy on the beach, Number 2 provides the perfect base from which to explore. Please Note: Access to the property is via a few steps both from the ground floor and cinema room level. This and the spiral staircase make the property unsuitable for those with limited mobility we are afraid.

A wonderful time!

By Glen C on 27-Jun-2022

One is never sure when booking a holiday on line these days but wow this place is just amazing! This property lived upto our expectations and more with so much room for 6 adults 2 babies and a dog! Everyone in our family were impressed with the facilities especially the hot tub o welcoming after a long drive. The beach being only yards away from the property is so convenient and was safe and secure - and the sun gave us some wonderful days on the beach where the sea comes in at a gentle tide allowing lots of scope for boarding and canoeing. I would thoroughly recommend the Fish Cutters as a holiday destination for any family.

Fantastic place to stay, beautiful location

2 Fish Cellars is a great holiday property, with two living rooms (one being the downstairs cinema room) so good amount of relaxation space, especially with three generations staying. The balcony and hot tub are a lovely addition, and the views from the upstairs living room and balcony are wonderful. The spiral staircase is very wide so not a problem carrying things up and down, and the underground car park is great. Portwrinkle is a lovely place, with great beaches, and a lovely pub (The Finnnygook Inn) up the road at Crafthole. We didn''t really feel the need to venture further afield on many days but we did go to Looe on a couple of days. It was a very relaxing break and we very much hope to return.

I want to live here!

The property is in an amazing location, the view is incredible from the balcony and being so close to the beach, listening to the waves is the relaxing experience you need, especially if coming down from London. We rated the location 4* just based purely around the fact that there are little amenities around. But that is also part of the areas charm, you just need to be more prepared for a drive out to the closest town to be able to kit yourself out. The space itself is very well equipped with everything you need for a stay with friends or family. A welcome bottle of Prosecco is a nice touch and there is even information to put you in touch with the local fisherman! The host was super responsive and helpful, with a lot of info to welcome you when you book your stay. Just a short walk from the South Coast path, you can go for a morning hike or a swim in the sea. I’ll be recommending this place to friends and my family, the perfect stay to get out of the city and relax and focus on your wellbeing. We would definitely go back, we fell in love with it’s charm and that view from the hot tub!
