Canoeing/kayaking nearby on the river at the beautiful towns of Bordeilles and Brantome (10 or 20 minutes by car). Lake beaches for swimming and watersports nearby at Lisle, La Jemaye (near Riberac), and at Aubeterre sur Dronne. Golf courses, fishing and horse riding all within a short driving distance. In a separate work-station area, a leather-topped desk houses an I-mac computer with Wi-fi and printer. The living room windows overlook the millstream outside.
Bedrooms

An additional i-Pod docking station in the garage allows you to play music through the outdoor speakers in the pool area and garden.

Parking and garages
An oak outbuilding houses a garage and carport. There is also plenty of parking space in the gated drive alongside the house.

An idyllic place to stay

By Alison Banks on 29-Jul-2023

A tranquil location and a lovely property. Set in beautiful French countryside, Moulin met all our needs. Unusually large pool and sun terrace and a property beautifully restored while providing modern comforts. The attention to detail and thoughtful touches in every corner of the house added to the experience. If you are looking for a peaceful retreat this idyllic Mill House is a haven of tranquility that I can't recommend highly enough.

Everything you could want

By Richard Thomas on 08-Jul-2023

We had a fantastic stay at the house . Everything you could need was there and more ,great living area for relaxing . The kitchen is great for entertaining as the open plan layout meant nobody was excluded while cooking. Supurb stereo system for a bit of a party. Lovely enclosed garden the dogs enjoyed more freedom than normal . The pool area is superb for relaxing and cooling off with a glass of wine . Bedrooms are an excellent size with plenty of storage and lovely and clean as was the whole house ….. It was a shame to leave
