Our holiday home, on a site of 33 privately owned Lodges at Duke´s Meadow, is one of 6 overlooking Duke´s Pond with its own parking space.
There are stunning views of Blencathra from the site and the North Lakes fells are just a short drive.
The market town of Penrith is 10 miles away where you can find a wide range of shops and supermarkets for all your needs. Keswick is 14 miles and you can drive to Pooley Bridge and Ullswater in 25 minutes.
Sleeping 4 people in two bedrooms, our holiday home is perfect for a family of three or four or two couples looking for a peaceful and relaxing break - your dog is welcome too.
The heating is all electric with thermostatically controlled radiators or towel rails in each room/bathroom.
The open plan accommodation offers a comfortable lounge area with TV, integral DVD player, Netflix and a Bluetooth speaker. Patio doors open onto the wooden decking with garden tables and chairs, parasol, BBQ and squirrel feeder.
The kitchen is well equipped with a good range of pots and pans that you might need for your self catering holiday.
The double and twin bedroom are both furnished with wardrobes and drawers offering plenty of storage space. Both bedrooms have a wall mounted TV with integral DVD player. There is a hair dryer in each room.
The double bedroom has an ensuite with shower, washbasin and WC. In the family bathroom there is a bath with shower over, washbasin and WC.
Bed linen and towels are provided. A cot and high chair are available at no extra charge - please ask when booking.
The prices quoted are for one week. Stays can be for any length of time but a minimum of 3 nights.
A discount of 25% for 3 nights and 10% for 5 nights is applied. Stays for any other period are calculated pro rata.
Changeover can be any day of the week.
