Nestling at the foot of majestic Ingleborough on the outskirts of the North Yorkshire village of Ingleton, Hilltop Bungalow is a semi-detached 2 bedroomed bungalow that offers excellent and very comfortable self-catering accommodation.
It is situated in a commanding position enjoying stunning and scenic views over the surrounding countryside.
The living room has large full-length window’s that look out for miles across rolling fields and the fells beyond.
Hilltop has a South-facing, sheltered, sitting-out area with a table, 4 chairs and a parasol. A warm and gloriously sunny spot, where guests can relax and retreat with a refreshing cup of Yorkshire Tea or unwind with a glass of wine.
The bungalow is just a short stroll away to the village centre and is perfect for those wanting either a restful holiday or to walk and explore the beautiful countryside.
Upgraded and furnished to a high standard with gas central heating, this cosy and delightful home accommodates and sleeps three in comfort.
The accommodation comprises of;
* Bedroom 1. With double-divan bed, bedside cabinet and built-in double-wardrobe
* Bedroom 2. With single divan bed, bedside cabinet and fitted wardrobe and cupboard (hairdryer located in the wardrobe).
*Shower Room. With Shower, riser and cubicle, WC and basin.
* Living/Dining Room. With two seater settee, armchair, dining table and chairs,
* HD Smart TV with Amazon Prime & Freeview
* Blu-Ray DVD.
* DAB Ted Baker Radio.
* Kitchen. With granite worktops, Belfast sink, electric cooker, under-counter refrigerator, under-counter freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave oven, kettle and toaster.
* Free WiFi with unlimited Broadband. Suitable for web browsing, emails, music and video streaming of shorter clips.
* Vestibule - With a library of books and local maps for walking and sightseeing.
* Outside. There is a garden on three sides with a sitting-out area with table and four chairs, rotary washing line. The bungalow has a block-paved drive-way with genuine off-road parking for one car.
All gas, electricity, bed-line and towels are provided.
Unfortunately access to the front and back doors of the bungalow is by way of steps thus it is not suitable for wheel-chair users.
Regrettably no dogs or pets are allowed.
Changeover day is normally Saturday, thus weekly bookings are Saturday to Saturday however we can be flexible for alternative arrangements.
We do accept short breaks of a minimum of 3 nights or more but only in the Low and Mid Season Periods, March, April And October. Low Season £80.00 per night. Mid Season £90.00 per night.
We do not accept short breaks during the High and Peak Season periods, May, June, July, August & September, these are 7 or 14 nights bookings only.

Welcome to Ingleton, a land of caves, rivers, waterfalls and mountains to see, walk and explore.
The village has all the amenities required for your stay, including four pubs that all serve delicious meals, an Italian restaurant, a wine bar, four cafés a fish and chip shop, a small Co-op supermarket, a convenience store, an outdoor/caving shop, bakers, and a petrol filling station.
There are many attractions and activities for all ages in Ingleton. For the adventurous there is fell walking, climbing up magnificent Ingleborough or the Three Peaks challenge of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough. There is also caving and pot-holing, exploring the regions many caves and potholes.
The village has a splendid and fabulous heated, outdoor public swimming pool for you to enjoy, this is open during the summer months. (There are not many public outdoor swimming pools left in this country.)
Ingleton Waterfalls are magnificent and a must for any visitor. The trail begins in the village and the four mile walk is relatively easy, though it is advisable to wear stout walking boots/shoes.
For the keen angler, trout fishing is available in the the two rivers that run through Ingleton. Licences are available locally.
If you are interested in going underground there are two splendid show caves situated on the outskirts of the village White Scar Cave and Ingleborough Show Cave. The nearest is the famous White Scar Caves, a guided tour through the cave provides a fascinating glimpse of the underground features and formations of the cave such as the marvellous stalactites and stalagmites.
For the railway enthusiast there is the famous Ribblehead Viaduct, also tickets can be bought for the historic Settle to Carlisle Railway. Sit back on board the train and marvel at the spectacular views as your carriage crosses the moorland fells and awesome Victorian railway viaducts as you make your way to Carlisle.
Ingleton is situated on the Western Edge of the Yorkshire Dales where three counties meet, Yorkshire, Lancashire and Cumbria.
Thus it is ideally placed not to just visit the Dales with it’s pretty villages and towns like Hawes, Settle, Kirkby Lonsdale, Sedbergh and Dent but is also near the picturesque Forest of Bowland, the awesome Lake District, the historic city of Lancaster and the seaside resorts of Morecambe and Grange-over-Sands.
