Description

High Beach in Hope Cove is a lovely 3 bed bungalow overlooking the picturesque traditional fishing village and beach of Hope Cove, with far reaching views across Bigbury Bay towards Burgh Island. Hope Cove is in the South Hams area of Devon; an area of outstanding natural beauty. With 3 bedrooms and plenty of outdoor space, High Beach is the perfect place to spend a week or 3!

Hope Cove is made up of two sandy beaches in an Area of Outstanding Beauty. High Beach is perched above the village of Inner Hope enjoying stunning views over and across to Bigbury Bay.

Having been recently refurbished, all of the rooms in High Beach are modern and fresh, each with a nautical feel. Consisting of a master bedroom and two further twin rooms, it caters easily for a family or a group of friends. The property is situated just a few minutes’ walk from the beach and can cater for 2 cars parking on its drive. Turn right at the end of the drive and you are immediately on the coast path to Bolt Tail. Hope Cove itself has a number of fines places to eat and drink and has a great vibe in the summer months.

A short driveway leads you to the back door which is probably the preferred entrance to the property especially after a day at the beach as you enter a large utility room. This room has ample space for storing wetsuits and all your beach paraphernalia or walking boots. It also houses the boiler and tumble drier.

From the utility room, you enter into the modern kitchen which has plenty of storage space and has all new appliances including, integrated cooker, ceramic hob, large fridge freezer and microwave. From the kitchen you go one of two ways. One way leads to the living room/ diner with views out to the front garden and across the harbour, out to sea. The living room has a large sofa and armchairs with a large flat screen TV. The dining table can seat 6. The other door from the kitchen leads you into the hallway, off of which lie the 3 bedrooms, a separate WC and family bathroom. The master bedroom has a double bed and built in wardrobes along with a chest of drawers. Bedroom 2 has two single beds, integrated wardrobe and chest of drawers whilst Bedroom 3 has single bunk beds.

Outside is a small front garden with a beach table and further seating – ideal for relaxing after a hard day at the beach!
